When a lot of infection flies around, then you have to not just put on a mask on yourself, but rather a respirator with good filtration. Some people wear such a respirator at work all day.
Respirators may have an exhalation valve. That is, we inhale with effort, opening our eyes, and exhalation can be done through the valve. It's much easier. And less water settles from the inside on the respirator. You can not change it for longer.
And a year ago, people quickly realized that it is more convenient to live with a valve.
Selfless Italian doctors then flashed on TV in respirators with a valve, and ours also picked up Italian fashion.
But for some reason, some of ours have escaped some Italian features. If you look closely, many videos show how Italians also put on a regular surgical mask on top of the respirator. What for?
After all, the mask was not lying around with a respirator in terms of filtering ability.
It's all about the valve. Through the valve of the respirator, an aerosol from the droplets, in which there may be a virus, flies out.
Italian doctors had to work long shifts. Literally worn out. They did not take off the respirator for a long time, and in order to maintain its filtering ability, they wore respirators with valves.
At the same time, due to such work, doctors became infected and could release a viral aerosol through the valve.
When it came to covid resuscitation, where both patients and doctors were sick, the additional portion of the viruses released into the air did not particularly affect the overall situation. Everyone was infected and they were not afraid of a small portion of the aerosol.
It turns out that Italian doctors protected themselves with a respirator from aerosol fountains when they inserted tubes into the throat of a covid patient. But they could afford valves, because their own potentially infectious exhalation no longer played any role in this cloud of viruses.
A completely different story took place in the waiting rooms and sorting. They took a bunch of different patients there. Some of them had covid, and some were unlucky enough to get the usual pneumonia.
It would be very disappointing to go to the hospital with ordinary pneumonia and pick up covid there as well. Therefore, doctors in such an area worked in respirators with valves (so as not to take them off for longer), but on top of their respirator they also wore an ordinary surgical mask. So they held back their infectious exhalation.
Do you understand? Ordinary surgical masks provide little protection from the virus attacking them. But these same surgical masks are gorgeous to protect those around, if the mask is worn on the patient. That is, they keep the virus in your nose well. This way you cannot infect others.
It was for this that everyone was forced to wear masks. The main task of the mask is to protect others from you. If we put aside your painful egocentrism, brothers, then we should all just follow the rules. We protect others from ourselves, others protect us from themselves. So we protect each other in a circle. As a result, everyone is visibly protected.
Now imagine the egoists. They wear a respirator with a valve on the subway. They protect themselves, and they spit on others with an aerosol through the valve. So the spread of infection is almost not restrained.
Do not wear a respirator with a valve. These valves are not recommended by the World Health Organization or the US Centers for Disease Control.
The valves help spread the infection.
This is not the first time I have met doctors who walk in public places in a respirator with a valve and spit on others. These are some kind of sociopaths, in my opinion. I can't stand that.
If you want to protect yourself further, then wear a respirator without a valve. Or wear a cloth mask over a medical masks. Or customize face mask. Tie knots or strengthen the mask with a stocking.
You understand, eccentrics, that you will not be able to hide from the epidemic. Everyone needs to make their own contribution, then we will cope. Get vaccinated and wear masks in public. Do not spit on others through the valve. The less you spit on your neighbors, the less the virus will return to you later. It's all one big circulation.
