Summer for many pregnant women becomes a test of strength. Try walking with a pillow on your stomach even at an air temperature of 20 degrees, not to mention a 30-degree heat - and you will feel what it feels like

Compliance with the following rules will help reduce discomfort.

1. The best time for walking is morning and evening

Do not walk in the sun from 11 am to 4 pm. At this time, it is easy to get heatstroke, which can harm both mom and baby. In addition, pressure can build up due to overheating. Did you know that with high blood pressure, a pregnant mother can even be put on storage. So don't tempt fate.

2. Sunscreen - must have

Due to hormonal changes, the skin of a pregnant woman becomes even more sensitive to the sun. To avoid the appearance of age spots, use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50. You need to apply it 15 minutes before going outside.

3. Fall in love with hats

They protect against sunstroke and skin from direct sunlight, and therefore from hyperpigmentation.

4. Always have water with you

Check with your doctor how much water you need to drink. The fact is that the "universal" formula of 30 ml of water per 1 kg does not work in case of pregnancy. If, for example, a pregnant woman has some kind of cardiovascular problems, then you need to drink less than usual. You should always have water with you. Do not allow dehydration. If you feel hot, you can apply a cool bottle to your armpits, under your knees. So the body will cool faster.

5. Choose the right clothes

Do not wear things that tighten your belly or restrict you in movement. Give preference to natural light-colored fabrics.

6. Take off the rings

The heat may swell fingers, and you simply cannot take off the ring in the evening.

7. Attention - feet

Shoes should be loose, you should not press anywhere. At the same time, you should not constantly wear flip flops: because of them, cracks can form on the heels. In the evening, pamper your feet with a cool bath. And make it a rule to keep your feet above your head for 15 minutes every day. It improves venous blood flow, good prevention of varicose veins and edema. Shoes should be loose, without webbing. By the way, in the evening, make it a rule to keep your legs above your head for 15 minutes. A cool bath also has a beneficial effect on them.

8. Enjoy thermal water

Thermal water - a godsend for any woman. It refreshes and moisturizes the skin. You can also use the economy option: a regular water spray bottle with cool water.

9. Lighten your diet

Lean on vegetables and berries, fruits. Minimize baking, greasy and fried. In addition to the fact that such food gives extra calories, it also has a "warming" effect.
