"I no longer fit into beautiful clothes": the work of stylists with 48-year-old Elena, who hides the fullness in baggy knitwear

Rapidly gaining a lot of excess weight affects health, mood and wardrobe. Having recovered 25 kg in three months and moving from size 46 to size 56, Elena was faced with the fact that her old clothes no longer fit on her. She was not in the mood and in a position to spend money on a new wardrobe, and there is a sad reason for that.

Elena's daughter burned down from neglected oncology in two months, leaving her little daughter. The family plunged into severe stress, which was most reflected in Elena, who fell into depression. She recovered sharply and developed complexes.

Never before had she even known what it was like to live with excess weight, which came so quickly and suddenly, causing a lot of inconvenience. The heroine was forced to move from her usual things to baggy clothes that hide the fullness - especially the belly, which she never had.

For all three years, Elena wears oversized knitwear in dark colors that do not at all paint a pretty chubby blonde. The stylists of "Fashionable Sentence" needed to transform Elena, showing her that even in this weight one can look attractive and dress beautifully.

Parameters: height - 172 cm, weight - 97 kg, figure - 118/106/129, clothing size - 56.

Own choice from "Fashion Store"

1. Straight blue dress

As it was correctly noted on the program, this is more likely not a dress, but a tunic - at least on Elena this piece of clothing looks like that. A rich shade of blue is suitable for both blondes and brunettes, but on it and on the zigzag print, the merits for the heroine end.

Although the straight cut hides the fullness, the length of the dress is clearly not enough for a harmonious look. It shortens the silhouette, emphasizes the fullness of the legs at the knees and hips, making Elena square.

2. Plaid skirt with brown top and knitted cardigan

Elena went to the podium in a top over a skirt, and tucked it in only at the request of Alexander Vasiliev. But both options are unsuccessful for the figure of the heroine, who is complex because of the big belly.

This combination looks simply ridiculous: the skirt is too short stretched almost to the neck, and all the features of the figure are accentuated. The cardigan itself is very nice apart from the set, but it doesn't save the day with the weird top and skirt. The scarf is also superfluous here - it is clearly for a different image, definitely not knitted.

3. Short red dress with a wide shawl

Such juicy colors are often called vitamins, and this bright red-orange really colors Elena, taking her out of her usual sad-mourning state. But, as in the case of the first blue dress, here, too, a straight fit and insufficient length.

The dress looks too small, and with an uneven hem, it looks like it just doesn't have enough fabric. But even with this edge, it would look perfect on Elena in the maxi version. Beads are not appropriate here, and the scarf looks old-fashioned - they make the outfit provincial.

Outfits from the stylists of "Fashionable Verdict"

1. Long patchwork dress with short cowboy jacket

The contrast-patching style can act as an optical illusion necessary to mask a full figure. For this, for sure, this dress was chosen - finally, a long one! In a duet for him, stylists offered Elena a burgundy jacket with fringes, with which large plastic earrings are combined.

A beige bag and mustard boots play flawlessly in an ensemble with a cowboy jacket, echoing with it in a soft suede texture, and in a warm autumn style.

2. Turquoise graphic print oversized dress and coat

The stylists left Elena blonde, but got rid of the yellow tint of her hair. Now they are beautifully combined with bright and clean shades, such as aquamarine or light turquoise, present in both dress and coat.

Particular attention should be paid to the coat, which has a print with an optical illusion and beautiful colors in pastel colors. Very beautifully, a light turquoise dress is combined with a turquoise coat, and a complementary beige shade with a soft beige in a bag and sneakers.

3. Long turquoise sequin dress

Again, pure and light turquoise with a bias in blue, diluted with a small amount of pale lilac in the accessories. The maxi dress is densely embroidered with sparkling sequins, but the cut for the figure is controversial.

Given that the heroine is complex about her belly, it is strange to offer her an outfit that emphasizes this area. The empire cut always creates the illusion of a wide waist, round belly and large hips, and in it the figure looks heavier due to the massive midsection of the body.

But in general, the image is very pleasant - bright and delicate, elegant and festive. This is what is required for the evening look of a woman at the age of plus or minus 50 years.

What about the transformation? (thanks for 👍)
