On Instagram, we often see pictures that are far from reality. Even such a term has appeared - "instagram beauty". Insta beauties - with flawless skin, perfect figure, Hollywood smile - cause many women not so much envy, but self-rejection. Someone as a result of this continues seize stress rolls, and someone begins to torment themselves with diets and self-flagellation. All this is about dislike for your body and yourself.

Finally, the situation starts to change for the better. Celebrities started talking about accepting themselves, about love for their imperfect body, which endured and gave a child. So, recently Anastasia Prikhodko, who became a mother for the third time in the spring, published her photo in lingerie. On it, as the singer herself wrote, she with a "saggy belly like a grater" and cellulite. . Works by a Mexican artist from Texas Cassie Arnold - about the same. About love for your body, about accepting its imperfection. She made female breasts with her art objects. Cassie knits tops that mimic breasts. After childbirth - saggy, out of shape. After surgery for breast cancer. They are just small and do not fit into the standards of female beauty. But from this no less valuable and beloved.

“My work is now exploring unspoken and taboo topics. These are the themes of miscarriage, breastfeeding, changes in the female body, and all of them are reflected in my work, and therefore - they encourage us to open dialogue, "
- writes Arnold.

For example, in a photo in her workshop, Cassie is wearing a T-shirt that lists 5 names. These are the names of her children - born and unborn. Thus, the artist raises the topic of miscarriages and, as it were, tells women that they need to remember all their babies. Even those who, for various reasons, were not born.

"Flat as a board. Mosquito bites. Name any phrase associated with flat chested, and I will tell you: I heard it. Look at me now: these babies have fed three beautiful babies, "
- so Cassie signed this photo.

"These babies have brought up three beautiful children."

It is impossible to buy such tops. These are art objects that are exhibited at exhibitions. And not only in Mexico, but all over the world. So, in 2020 they were at the Mother Art Prize exhibition in London.
