An insufficient amount
It is not enough just to apply the cream, you need to do it in sufficient quantity. Therefore, it is very important to choose your own cream that will not lie on the skin with a greasy pancake. Taking a pea of cream and smearing it all over your face is wrong! I myself once did this and did not understand why my age spot “bloomed” like apple trees in May in the garden.
I read a lot of expert materials on this topic in order to understand how much cream will be enough. This is about 1 ml, which is quite a lot, of course. But this is exactly how much it takes to get exactly the SPF figure that is indicated on the package. That is, if you take a cream with SPF-30 and apply a pea on your face, you will get protection, but it will pull it by 30, and by 5-10.
1 ml is about 1/4 teaspoon or 2 fingers, as in the photo above. Sometimes I practice layering, especially when the cream is liquid. I apply one layer, after absorbing the second.
Rely only on SPF in color cosmetics
Let's talk a little about foundation and powder. Many of them are marked for sun protection. But will one powder or tone be enough for us for high-quality protection? Not. Why? Remember the first point - we must use enough. We try to apply the foundation in a thin layer, there is not even half of it. Powder is generally a light veil.
It would be great and just perfect if a small amount of decorative cosmetics would give us good protection. He waved a brush filled with mineral powder - and voila. Perhaps someday they will come up with something, but for now - no. We use SPF cream under make-up.
Poor cleansing
Filters require high-quality skin cleansing. Do not neglect this point if you do not want problems with inflammation, acne and other delights. More than once I read from my subscribers that SPF cream led them to acne. And each time I gave one piece of advice that helped. Cleanse your skin thoroughly!
This does not mean that you have to mercilessly rub and dry out poor skin. Just add water butter! Two-step cleansing will help you. The first step is the hydrophilic oil / balm, the second is your cleanser. Hydrophilic oil ideally removes BB and CC creams, and any other foundation, SPF creams. For its price, it is very good - it copes well with makeup and filters. He has a small consumption, a small jar lasted for 3-4 months, but I did not use it every day. I take about a teaspoon of the product. And don't forget that any cleansing oils must be rinsed off first with water and then with a cleanser.
