In fact, there is no single correct length. This is not to say that all fashionable trousers should be shortened or necessarily as long as possible. It all depends on the specific model. Today we will consider several different trousers with you and decide what length we need in each specific case.

Palazzo trousers should be as long as possible. Of course, it's not worth sweeping the floors, as a fashionista's style is doing, but let the distance from the floor be small.
In addition to the palazzo, there are now other wide leg pants, the width may vary. And they also look perfect at their maximum length. So the legs look long, and the look is stylish and there is no firing effect.
Flared trousers and slit trousers
The most advantageous and successful flare length is also maxi. Despite the fact that now in the store you can find flared ankle-length trousers, this is a very controversial option that insolently steals the cherished centimeters from our female feet. They can be afforded by slender and very long-legged ones, however, it can look a little strange for them. And sometimes it's even ridiculous.
Both the flare from the hip and the flare from the knee are relevant, both options are better in the maximum length.
The trendy model this year, which can be seen on almost every fashionista on Instagram, is trousers with slits. Most often they are either straight or slightly flared from the knee. The safest length option is also the maximum here.
Joggers and cargo
Pants that have cuffs and an elastic band are allowed to be worn in different lengths. Slightly (!) Cropped joggers and cargo, in which the bone is clearly visible, are still relevant. It is hardly worth getting carried away with shorter models, except perhaps for young fashionistas in combination with fashionable socks.
It is also possible a slight overhang of the trousers on the cuffs, this happens to me when the length is a little long. However, here you need to understand the measure, otherwise the image will look very squat. There is also a risk of leg shortening. As an unnecessary horizontal line is created, which “cuts the leg”.
Regular length without shortening and overhang is generally an excellent and most versatile option.
Straight and tapered trousers
Straight models, which we cannot classify as wide (we have already disassembled wide straight ones), as well as narrowed to the bottom, look good in a shortened 7/8 version. With this length, chinos, slacks, pipes and other similar models look good.
But straight suit trousers are ideal in maximum length, especially in stylish, strict looks. Although the shortened version is also applicable to them.
