My regular readers know that I mostly buy clothes and shoes in online stores, I see them only in pictures and almost never miss.
The most frequent questions under the articles about my new clothes sound like this: "How can I buy shoes without trying on?", "How to determine your size correctly?"
I answer these questions and share my secrets of proper online shopping:
Footwear
The most important thing is to measure your foot correctly.
We put our foot on a white sheet, relax and outline the foot - I think we all did this in childhood. Then we measure with a ruler the distance from the end of the most protruding toe to the most protruding part of the heel.
Never rely on your usual size when buying shoes online, just the size chart of the chosen pair and the length of your foot. Also look at the model: if you see that the shoes visually look narrow, and you have a wide foot, then these shoes are probably not suitable for you.
Study the description: usually the seller writes whether the shoes are in size or undersized. Sports sneakers, for example, I always order one size up because my legs swell a little during exercise, and this is aggravated in tight shoes.

Here are similar rules: measure your parameters. Moreover, this must be done before each purchase. Sometimes we can imperceptibly have extra cm at the waist, and we, focusing on the old OT, will order new skinny for ourselves. And then the store will blame them for the wrong sizes :)
The most important disappointments arise from the inability to choose "their" thing. This is where the EXPECTATION – REALITY memes come from. Usually, things are shown on girls with ideal proportions, with legs "from the ears", and in addition they are well done with photoshop.
And we are all natural and individual, and each has its own characteristics and advantages. The latter must be skillfully packaged in the right clothes.
My main advice: get yourself a big fitting. Go to an offline store, but not to buy, but to try on. You will feel completely different, it will be fun and without commitment.
Try to collect ready-made sets: blouse, skirt, shoes. Take the styles that you were afraid to look at before. And take pictures: if there is no one with you, take a selfie in the mirror (keep your phone at chest level so as not to distort the proportions). And then at home, in a relaxed atmosphere, analyze your photos: which fits better, which dress slims, which skirt gives unnecessary volume to the hips.
So you will get to know your body and finally understand what adorns you, and then you will buy the right things both offline and online.
Saving
I like to buy from online stores because it is cheaper there. There are always more promotions and great deals.
Most often, I order things on foreign sites, although sometimes I experience difficulties, because I learned German at school. In such situations, I use the "translate page" function.atYandex. Browser on your computer. But sellers often prescribe the terms of the promotion on the product photo, and this is a real problem. You have to manually transfer the text to the translator, it is painful and time-consuming.
But now everything has become much easier: Yandex. The browser has learned to translate text in pictures. I have already tried out the new function.
It is enough to click on the photo with the right mouse button, and the content becomes clear. Very comfortably.
Before buying, research all the promotions and do not buy an item until you are sure that you have a decent pair in your closet for a new skirt or blouse.
