The fact that a woman should take care of herself is a matter of course, it has always been and will be. But what about men? Should they look after their appearance?
Or should a man be rude, hairy and smelly? And he doesn't owe anything else.
I would like to note that lately there are more and more cosmetic procedures for men. And you need to understand that demand creates supply, and if there are such procedures, then someone is using them. And if the number of salons where men are helped to become beautiful is growing, then there are more men who take care of themselves.
What do women think about this? And how important is it for a man to look well-groomed? And what degree of "grooming a man" is normal, without overkill?
After interviewing about a hundred women, we found out:
1. Facial care.
It became clear that it was not so important for women that a man, for example, looked after his face, and it was perfect for him, without flaws. Of course, big problems and rashes indicate health problems and it is advisable to get tested. But in general, a man needs elementary cleanliness.
2. Nails.
Manicure and pedicure are also not important, the main thing is that the nails are neatly trimmed, which you can do yourself, you do not have to go to the salon. Moreover, the fashion for nail polish in men, many women are horrified and causes rejection and dislike.
3. Hair.
As for dyeing hair, it's not for everybody, if it helps to hide gray hair, then for most women such a procedure is acceptable. But when a man dyes his hair for beauty or he wants to become a blonde from a brunette, it seems to many women a loss of masculinity.
4. Beard.
Not all women like fashionable beards now, although it looks very "brutal". According to almost all the fair sex, when it comes to loved ones relationships, they prefer clean-shaven men, so that you can touch them without harm to your skin.
5. Beauty injections and facials.
This is a separate song, after all, if a man is not a screen star, giving injections to appear younger is not masculine. Almost all the women said.
6. Clothing.
Everything is very ambiguous here, there is no dispute about tastes. Someone loves shirts and trousers, someone jeans and T-shirts, and someone loves a tracksuit. But, nevertheless, men's clothing should be men's and, for example, tight things on men, cause negative emotions in the majority of the women surveyed.
In the end, I would like to note that almost all women said that for attractiveness, a man needs to be neat, in clean clothes, smell nice and not look like a "clown". Age-appropriate in choosing an outfit and just being a man in business and behavior.
