Family relationships are sometimes not as warm as they write in books. The realities are completely different, and at times they are rather unpleasant. It happened so with Sonya. Most recently, a woman gave birth to her daughter Masha, she is sitting at home on maternity leave, her husband is working. The family has to rent an apartment, despite the fact that the parents of both are wealthy people.
Imagine, the parents together have four apartments! Sonia's apartment was to be inherited from her grandmother. But, after her death, the girl was still 15 years old, and the apartment was rented out until the child turns 18. Now Sonya is already 22, but the apartment is still being rented. Of course, the parents really liked to receive money out of the blue every month. Therefore, the talk about the inheritance has died down!
Maxim's parents - Sonya's husband have 3 apartments in general! Two kopeck pieces and one three-ruble note, and the parents never offered a single apartment to their children. The mother immediately said that she and her father had worked all their lives, they covered themselves with everything, therefore this living space is theirs, and not their son's. And in general, Mom is sure that the children should achieve everything themselves, and she always says all this with a smile. It seems and not out of spite, but little pleasant! And these 3 apartments, of course, are also rented out, and everyone is so comfortable, no one is going to lose profit. Everyone is comfortable and good, but Sonya and Maxim, and even with the baby in their arms, have to rent a living space for themselves.
The family rents a small studio apartment on the outskirts of the city. This is the most budgetary option, and only they could afford it. There is not enough money at all. Sometimes you even have to save on food! And it is very difficult when you want to buy all the most delicious, satisfying and wholesome things for your baby. Sonya is on maternity leave, but payments depend on the length of service. And her experience is generally small, respectively, she receives a penny.
Maxim has to work with all his might, but he also fails to earn enough money. At least drop everything and cry. Everywhere a higher education is required, and after school Maxim got into the army, and then returned, met Sonechka. She is now studying by correspondence, and a lot of money is spent on studies. And here the parents also do not help in any way!
And so Sonia sits at home sad in the evening, waits for her husband from work, plays with her daughter, and her mother throws a photo of dresses into the vatsap, and asks which one is better to buy for herself. And Sonya almost cries, the dresses are expensive, her mother is ready to buy herself an expensive option, but she herself has no money, she thinks about how to buy Masha some fruit.
The most unpleasant thing is that parents do not give gifts or buy anything for their granddaughter, while they say that they are already on the verge of old age, and that they cannot be abandoned. Like they raised children all their lives, and now they would like to see the world, go to the sea. And everyone is pushing, they say that it is time to get up financially. How can you get up here? Pay for rent, pay for study, no one canceled the rent. Now, if only one apartment was given to them, or at least one of the grandmothers expressed a desire to sit with her granddaughter while Sonya went to work. So no, as if they are being bullied. They boast about their purchases, poke their noses into the lack of money, bury their apartments, call their relatives, they should be silent at least!
Sonya is sure that she will be a completely different mother, she will help with her grandchildren, and will give money whenever possible. Friends say that all the same, then these apartments will be inherited, and all the problems will go away! But Sonya no longer wants anything, let her parents take this whole living space with them at least to the grave ...
What do you think about this situation? I understand that parents do not owe anything, but if they see that their children are in poverty, that they are not eating enough, they cannot work normally, why not help? And what kind of presentations are they, they themselves do not help, but are they already throwing fishing rods on the seas?
