What's in a makeup bag can be cheap and cool, even if you love an expensive luxury

Both Dior and the Belarusian Lux Visage coexist in my cosmetic bag. I never chase prestige or, conversely, very low prices. Quality is always my priority. If it suits me, I don't care what is written on the bottle.

By trial, I realized that budget products sometimes can not only not yield, but also wipe their nose with luxury. Yes, the price is not always a guarantee of quality.

What can be budgetary in your cosmetic bag without losing quality? I offer my options, and you write your own in the comments. We will exchange information)

Lip Pencils

Now lip pencils are in great demand, I myself love them very much. They can be used to tweak the shape a little. Make a nice gradient on the lips. Make a gorgeous nude.

They also serve as a substrate for bright and dark lipsticks, and with age-related makeup, they help lipstick not to flow into vertical folds.

I tried different lip pencils and realized that there are a lot of cool options among the budget ones. Nice texture, good color palette. Why then pay more?

The most popular budget pencils are probably Vivienne Szabo. They are very good, for me a little dry, to be honest. But I still like them. I love Lamel pencils even more, especially gel pencils - these are the softest and most non-dry lip pencils I've tried. I also note Art-Visage, they generally have a lot of products that pleasantly surprised me, it would be necessary to collect them all in a separate article for you.

Highlighter

Budget highlighters are not all good. But I have such a bombastic and cheap highlighter that it is simply a sin to hide it from you.

Gone are the days of radiance, as from space. 2-3 years ago, the highlighter was applied in tons. Now it is enough to light up the face a little, adding to it a chill. With a highlighter, the skin becomes visually more well-groomed. The main thing is that there are no large vulgar sparkles, because we are not a dancer of Philip Kirkorov, to shine so that even the back rows are blind. Measure and fine glitter are our best friends. The skin should not shine, but radiate a healthy glow.

My favorite is the Estrade Illuminique highlighter. Its only drawback is its flimsy packaging, but excuse me, have you seen its price? With it you can get both a light radiance and a cosmic one. The texture is silk, it is a pleasure to apply. There is no large shimmer in it, only neat microscopic sparkles, very beautiful.

Mascara

I have disgusting eyelashes, worse than them - only my character. I tried dozens of different mascaras that I just didn't buy myself: almost all of the Maybelline mascaras, praised by Lancome Hypnose, no less vaunted by Vivienne Sabo Cabaret, Pupa, Max Factor, Shiseido, the list goes on long.

As a result, I stopped generally at the Belarusian ones. I am a little skeptical about budget cosmetics, which are highly praised on the Internet. Because very often it's just hype. I had such a wary attitude towards Belarusian cosmetics. But in vain. I am still pleasantly surprised by many products, including even care. Which is generally surprising.

I have already written many times about my favorites, which I have bought many times - this mascara Bielita Luxury Royal Volume and LUXVISAGE XXL. This is the best I've had. Okay, I liked Lancome Hypnose too, but the prices differ dramatically. It was with these mascaras that I finally got the effect of beautiful eyelashes - good volume, lengthening, no sticking and nasty spider legs. An important point is that they do not crumble.
