Elena and Nikolai have lived together for almost 30 years. Lena, very young, married her beloved man. He is such a stately, brave military man, 5 years older than her, self-confident, firm, purposeful. She is still such a young student, who has not understood the goals of life, she is practically unable to do anything. Nikolai simply took the girl in an armful, surrounded her with care and attention, from the other side, the parents and older sister pressed on, who was amazed at Nikolai's confessions to Lena. All in one voice repeated that it was necessary to get married.
And Lena agreed. A year later, the first-born appeared, and the girl went headlong into raising her son and housekeeping. All her life she tried to please her husband. She lost weight, rocked her buttocks, achieved a flat tummy. She did fashionable haircuts, manicure, pedicure, and put on beautiful makeup. Lena did not know how to live differently, she tried to do everything to make her husband happy. She watched only those films that he liked, cooked the food that he loved and even read the books that Nikolai recommended to her.
The couple spent each vacation in the mountains or on the river. Fishing, songs with a guitar, overnight in tents. Someone will say that everything is fine, the romance is real. But Lena liked everything else, but she still always yielded to her husband.

She walked for a long time, got out to the station, got on the train, and left. Already on the train, Lena got a call from her husband, but she just threw it off. Resentment overwhelmed her, and Nikolai was left alone with his desires, forever. Lena was able to break out of all this, and even if it took almost 30 years, she was able to.
