Like many losing weight, Peggy struggled with being overweight for years. But just like all of them, she was able to pull herself together only when the weight reached a critical point. The woman decided that it was no longer possible to postpone and lost 77 kg. What does Peggy look like today and how did she manage to lose so much weight? And most importantly - without surgery!
From a reed to a matron
Peggy has struggled with being overweight throughout her life. He then jumped up, then dropped down a little. The girl had an eating disorder that she could not overcome on her own.
Having met her husband in 2013, she weighed 64 kg, which was the absolute norm for a woman of her age, height and physique. Then, as often happens in couples, both spouses gained ten kg, and then Peggy's weight quickly crept up.
When she became pregnant, she decided not to deny herself anything and "eat for two." During pregnancy, the woman gained more than 30 kg, which remained with her after giving birth.
After a year and a half, she became pregnant for the second time, and this pregnancy brought with her about 20 kg more. The daughter had health problems, which hit her mother's psychological state hard. Peggy plunged into an abyss of stress, which she habitually seized. So the next 15 kg came.
Humiliating fullness
The daily McDonald's food, chips and chocolates did their job every night. Pressure and weight increased, self-esteem fell. By the summer of 2018, Peggy weighed 136 kg. That is, from 2013 to 2018, the woman added more than 70 kg to her normal weight.
Like many other fat men, she could have grown together with her excess weight, if not for the humiliating situations in which she happened to fall. One day the whole family went to Disneyland, and Peggy's husband had to take a wheelchair for her... Peggy simply could not walk - her knees and back hurt so badly. She gasped and sweated. But she was only 30 years old, and she was a mother of two small children!
“I've never felt worse. And I was very afraid of dying of excess weight and leaving my children without a mother... "
Losing weight for money
In August 2018, Peggy began her journey to find a new self. She signed up for a 6 week fitness marathon. Under the terms of the marathon, if a person lost 10 kg and 5% of their fat during this period, he received $ 400. Participation in the fitness marathon brought Peggy not only money, but also a new experience that turned her life upside down.
“I started practicing five days a week. My first lesson was spinning on an exercise bike. And although now I love to do spinning, the first time it was very difficult. I started from scratch and was completely out of shape. Earlier, I believed in the myth that strength training makes a person pumped, but this is not true. They help you tighten and burn a lot of calories. "
The beginning of a slender life
Peggy truly fell in love with physical activity and could no longer imagine life without regular exercise. From August 2018 to November 2019, she lost a total of 73 kg - exactly the weight that she once gained.
At the fitness marathon, she changed her mind to a new type of diet, which was very comfortable for losing weight:
“As soon as I focused on the calorie deficit, I lost weight. I ate a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. My diet consisted of egg whites, whole grain breads, fruits (mostly apples and berries), dark leafy greens, chicken, turkey, brown rice, black beans, sweet potatoes, Greek yogurt, almonds, peanut butter, avocados, protein shakes, and bars ".
Minus 77 kg, peace and joy
Peggy has proven that in order to lose that many pounds, you don't have to undergo bariatric surgery, liposuction, or even excision of excess skin. Of course, she has problems with saggy skin, but they are not so critical, so you can live with them.
Over the next 2020, Peggy lost a little more weight. From August 2018 until today, she has lost a total of 77 kg, completely changing her life, becoming healthier and happier.
“When people ask me how I feel after losing weight, I always tell them that I feel peace and joy. Once again I feel like myself, a wife and a mother - who I am called to be. "
