When Dmitry divorced his wife, his daughter was only two years old. The man loved his wife very much and truly, but, as it happens with many, the couple simply did not agree in character. Quarreling, trying to come to an agreement, collecting the fragments and glueing - no, the spouses did not do any of the above. They just decided that they weren't right for each other and got divorced.
Although initially their relationship was based on friendship. Before the wedding, Dmitry and Anna were friends for 7 years, then they suddenly decided to get married, and the man fell in love like a boy. Only, from Anna's side, love did not flare up. After the divorce, little Katyushka stayed with her mother, but Dmitry took her home every weekend.
After several years of loneliness, the man met Larisa. The woman worked with him at the same enterprise, and it seemed that their meeting was real destiny. The couple began dating, and a year later Dmitry proposed to his girlfriend.
As before, Dmitry took Katyushka to his place for the weekend, not noticing that his wife did not really like all this. Yes, even if he did, he understands that Katya is still a stranger for Larisa, and it takes time so that they can make friends, get to know each other better.

He was next to his daughter for two years, and after the divorce he still did not stop communicating with her, and then someone is trying to stop all this, even if it is a legitimate wife. Larisa was very offended by this, because she planned to rule over her husband, drive him under the heel and get rid of the little girl. In the baby, she saw a rival, because it was her husband's daughter who was in first place, and not her.
Once Dmitry took Katyushka away again for the weekend, came home, but Larisa was not there. I called, and she said that she had gone to her parents, and that he would not wait for her. This did not upset him in the least. He went with his daughter to the shops, bought her clothes, toys, took her to a cafe, in general, had a good time. When Dmitry brought Katya back to her mother, they got into a conversation with his ex-wife. It turns out that she had a business trip to another city, and there was no one to leave the girl with. Dmitry was very happy that the baby would be able to stay with him for a week, and agreed to take her to him.
But his lawful wife was not happy about it. At first she ignored the little girl, then began to find fault with her. And in the end, Dmitry, returning from the store, saw Larisa hitting Katya. It turns out that the girl was vacuuming and accidentally dropped her stepmother's expensive powder, for which she received it from her.
It was the end. Dmitry did not expect to see such a terrible picture. Katyushka shrank and sobbed in the corner, and Larissa beat her with her palms, pronouncing bad words that should not be uttered at all. The behavior of his wife angered the man, he began to demand an apology and explanation from her, for which he received an ultimatum - either a wife or a daughter.
Not everyone manages to fall in love with children from a man's first marriage. Yes, in principle, no one forces them to love, but they should be treated like a human being, tolerant, is it possible to be calm? What are the children to blame for the mistakes of adults? How can you see a rival in the face of a little girl?
Dmitry did not know the answers to these questions, so his choice was obvious. He just showed Larisa to the door, called her a taxi and gave her money for the first time. When the woman left, the man began to calm his daughter. She did not understand what she had done so bad, she did not even want to make contact with her dad for a while. It was difficult, but the man found a way out.
He called his ex and asked for permission to leave with Katyusha on vacation at sea. The woman thought and agreed, especially since her personal life began to stick together, and she wanted to be alone with her new chosen one and future husband.
Now Katyusha has grown up, turned into a written beauty, very similar to her mother. She visits her father every week and brings two grandchildren. The man did not regret a bit that then he chose the daughter, and not the evil wife!
Unfortunately, not all men do this. Many are ready to forget their children, do not pay child support for them, and generally do not participate in their growing up. And there are only a few people like Dmitry, but these men deserve the greatest respect!
