VDNKh will welcome the arrival of spring both traditionally and in a modern way. Especially for the holiday, the expo center was decorated with decorations made of hay and bright ribbons, and a five-meter scarecrow of winter was installed on the central square. Themed photo zones were equipped on the territory of the complex, so that bright and colorful photos are provided to visitors. The program of the celebration includes pancakes, costumed animators, stilt walkers and many contests (tug-of-war, sacking, extreme trail). Young people will appreciate the music program: the guests of the complex will walk around the expo center to the songs of famous Ukrainian artists (DANTESа, Anna Trincher, Olga Tsibulskaya, TARABAROVA, Mila Nitich, Artur Bosso, the group "Clay Gloomy" and SELFY, Oleg Chiger and others). One of the most popular open-air museums in Kiev on Maslenitsa invites guests to plunge into the customs of their ancestors. Visitors to the museum will be able to look at the ancient rite of Kolodia recreated to the smallest detail (at the exposition of the Middle Dnieper region). The program includes performances of folklore ensembles with traditional ritual and folk songs. From delicious pancakes, dumplings and uzvar are promised. And "Park Kievan Rus" celebration of Maslenitsa promises to be large-scale. The program includes horseback riding, sleigh rides or carriages, horse stunt performances, many games, round dances and competitions. Guests will enjoy the "Pancake Day", a treat from the prince, shooting from the trebuchet with fiery cannonballs. The scarecrow will be burned twice - at 15.30 and 18.30, with one of them being the largest in Ukraine.
