"The last time"
You've probably heard this phrase from friends, and often. Why do they say this, and not "the last time"? The fact is that a similar phrase was initially used only by people whose work is associated with risk - the military, astronauts and etc. They generally eschew the word "last", because they believe that for them, in reality, "the last time" can become last. Let's call this phrase a professional slang. But you should not use the phrase in everyday life when you, for example, ask who is "the last in line". Philologists consider the use of the word "extreme" instead of "last" as a gross violation in the Russian language. So, we are trying to remove the phrase "last time" from our vocabulary.
"I heard you"
And such a phrase can anger even the most calm and balanced person. The thing is that it is perceived as not that someone heard the person, but as if they were sending him to hell, they want him to lag behind with a similar topic. But there is nothing like that in this phrase, it is harmless, but it affects human patience irritably.
"I miss you"
“Miss you”, “Miss you”, “Miss you”. How is it right? And it would be right: "I miss you."
"Let's fix it!"
And this phrase definitely comes from jargon. There is no such verb in the Russian language "to resolve", there is a verb "to decide". Therefore, it is correct to say: "Let's solve the problem."
"Borrow me money"
If you really decided to ask your friends for money, then you need to speak differently. For example, "Can I borrow money from you?" or "Lend me some money." But the phrase "Lend me money" simply contradicts itself, because "borrow" is to borrow.
"Pay for the ride"
Wrong to say that! And it is correct to say this: "Pay for travel" and "Pay for travel".
"Have a seat"
And this phrase is also superstitious, like the word "extreme". And we can say that the word "sit down" is used by people associated with the underworld. Well, it’s like you have to sit down on a chair, but you can only sit down in jail. But the bottom line is that the verb "sit down" implies that a person needs to sit down, say, on the very edge or on his haunches. And that sounds pretty rude, right? If you do not want to look impolite, then use the phrase: "Sit down, please!".
"Yummy"
I confess that occasionally I use this word even in my articles or when I am going to the store for something tasty. This word, as well as such as "vinishko", "sadness", "money" is Internet slang, and you should not use all this in a serious conversation. That is, when communicating with friends, on the Internet, among relatives, you can use such words, but at work you should not do this! This is not allowed by the literary language!
Of course, it is difficult to immediately remember how to speak correctly, especially if for a long time, out of ignorance, used such phrases, but it's worth trying, we are educated people!
