Sometimes the closest people become the strangers at once. And those whom he trusted, whom he loved, whom he believed, show their true colors. Relatives are not chosen, but sometimes it is better to distance yourself from them, for your own good. With Artyom something happened that he did not expect at all. The moment he became suddenly happy, his family turned away from him sharply.
Just a month ago, Artyom finally bought his own home. His happiness knew no bounds. Of course, the apartments are expensive, and I had to get into a loan, but Artyom was solvent and could afford such a luxury. He worked for a long time in a successful company, and earned good money. He even managed to save up a little for a down payment, even though it was money for a vacation, Artyom suddenly outplayed everything, because he was tired of wandering around rented apartments. Either the owners suddenly decided to sell their living space, then they came across inadequate ones who could break in in the middle of the night to take something, then the prices were set sky-high. After another similar rental of housing, Artem decided to drastically change his life, collected the necessary documents, withdrew money for vacation, and took out a mortgage.
Until Artyom had a wife and children, so he understood that he could afford such a luxury as an apartment on a mortgage. Before he had to pay for the education of his younger sister, who, by the way, studied so-so. Plus, he gave her pocket money, but he did it strictly of his own free will. It was just that Artyom understood that he needed to help his parents with at least something, so he took upon himself such a responsibility to almost completely support his sister. This went on for almost 4 years.
Now Artem bought an apartment, and he was eager to share his joy with his family. He invited everyone to visit him. Parents and sister did not even suspect anything, because Artyom often moved from apartment to apartment. But when the man solemnly announced that it was now his personal apartment, everyone opened their mouths. Artem added that the apartment was taken out on a mortgage, so now, unfortunately, he will not be able to pay for his sister's studies. The payments are quite high, and Artyom will need to eat something else, as well as pay for a communal apartment. Do you know what the reaction was? You probably already guessed, a terrible scandal broke out! Mom started screaming:
- What about our vacation now? We will have to give all the money we have accumulated for Nastenka's studies! Why didn't you warn about this in advance, didn't you discuss anything with us? We have already begun to do everything for foreign passports, and you! This is a very selfish act on your part, Artem!
The sister also connected:
- Well, great, you won’t say anything! Well done, brother, you bought yourself a nest, and left your whole family behind! Now I have to live with my parents in a kopeck piece, and you have your own mansions! And who will pay for my training? And I can't see a new phone either? Well, it's just wonderful, your news is unpleasant, okay?
It is curious that the parents did not even tell Artyom that they were planning to go abroad, and his sister never called him at all to find out how he was doing. They always turned to him just to ask for money!
And only now Artem realized this. After all, absolutely any communication, calls came down to the fact that he was asked for money. They asked for training, for renting housing for Nastya, for buying a TV or some little things. Artyom was in shock, he did not take offense at his relatives, but he really did not understand why they began to treat him like a fat wallet, and not like a dear person.
