People who have been infected with the coronavirus have seen eye-related symptoms.
According to British scientists (they presented their conclusions in an article published in British Medical Journal), it was possible to identify a significant frequency of symptoms associated with eye inflammation in people who were infected with the coronavirus.
In a survey conducted with 83 respondents, scientists found that dry cough manifested itself in 66%, fever in 76%, fatigue in 90%.
Among the eye symptoms, photophobia (18%), eye pain (16%), and itchy eyes (17%) prevailed.
The study participants noted that they did not develop symptoms immediately, and gradually the discomfort in the eyes increased from the second week after infection. About 80% of people experience eye problems for at least 14 days.Recall
