The situation with the coronavirus forced the Cabinet of Ministers to recommend to local authorities to send schoolchildren on vacation.
In Ukraine, autumn holidaywill probably start this week before October 15th. This was announced by the head of the parliamentary committee for the health of the nation, medical care and medical insurance Mikhail Radutsky.
The People's Deputy stressed that the holidays will begin earlier, but their date should be determined by the local authorities for each region and city.
It is optimal if the holidays begin next week so that most of the schoolchildren have a rest until October 15.
It is noteworthy that the decision to postpone the holidays is associated with both the coronavirus pandemic and the elections of local authorities. During the electoral process, polling stations will be located in schools.
But earlier, during the elections, schoolchildren were given only one day off (on Monday).
The holidays will last approximately until October 30.Note that 4,768 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine per day.
