Many children are very reluctant to try new foods. How, then, can you diversify their diet?
How to convince a child to try something new with food?
1. Add one ingredient to a familiar dish
A separate inflorescence of broccoli or a piece of cheese may not please the child, but in a soup, salad or sandwich, it will go with a bang. A child will always be skeptical about a completely new dish. And the usual with a barely noticeable change - will agree to try.
2. Experiment with structures
Often times, a child does not want to try a new product because of its consistency. Some children love everything crispy, others - puree. Try different presentation options, keeping this in mind. It also helps to combine opposing flavors and textures: crunchy soft meats, salty cheese with sweet pumpkin, etc.3. Use the children's sweet tooth
For example, a custard can be made from avocado and sweet syrup, or from banana and cream. And the result will be, at first glance, familiar to the baby, but in fact - completely different (and more useful). It is also useful to add nuts, legumes to the dough, make baked goods with carrots.
