Roast with meat in pumpkin

If you want to celebrate Halloween but aren't ready to put scary snacks on the table, try making a roast.

Roast with aromatic meat and potatoes baked in pumpkin will envelop your home with a unique autumn flavor. The dish looks gorgeous, Halloween-style, but without exploiting all sorts of thematic - and sometimes not entirely appetizing - themes.

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin - 1 PC.,
  • Pork - 400 g,
  • Potatoes - 3 pcs.,
  • Carrots - 1 pc.,
  • Bulb onion - 1 pc.,
  • Olive oil - 3 tbsp. spoons,
  • Fresh dill - 2-3 branches,
  • Fresh parsley - 2-3 sprigs,
  • Salt to taste
  • Black and red pepper to taste.

Cooking method:

1. My pumpkin, peel, cut off the top, peel the pumpkin or pumpkins (if small, then you can take a few) from the pulp.

2. We turn on the oven and heat it up to 180 degrees.

3. Cut the meat into pieces and the peeled potatoes into cubes.

4. Peel the carrots and cut them into cubes, do the same with the onions.

Then we mix the meat with vegetables.

5. We use olive oil and spices.

6. Fill the pumpkin with the roast mixture and add 100-150 ml of water.

7. Cover the pumpkin with the top, put it in a baking dish.

8. Add another 100-150 ml of water to the mold itself, bake the roast for 2.5 hours.

9. We take out a fragrant dish, bon appetit!

Advice

It is advisable to grease the bottom of the pumpkin with vegetable oil for optimal baking.
