Many women want to experience the happiness of motherhood. But what if pregnancy and gestation threaten health and life? The best reproductive specialists, lawyers, psychologists and even a priest told the pros and cons of surrogate motherhood in the talk show “What women are silent about” on STB.

The heroine Nadezhda came to Oksana Bayrak's studio, for whom the help of a surrogate mother is the last chance to have a child. The girl had a complicated kidney transplant operation, after which the doctors do not give any guarantees of a safe pregnancy.

Fertility specialist Inna Moroz noted that there are clear indications for which it is worth contacting a surrogate mother:

• 4 or more unsuccessful attempts at assisted reproductive technologies 
• malformations of the reproductive system
• severe somatic diseases in which there is a threat to the life and health of the mother.

What do you need to use the services of a surrogate mother:

• written consent from the ordering parents
• suitable female ova or male sperm
• choose and conclude an agreement with an agent who is looking for a surrogate mother

Lawyers insist that parents are protected from all risks and fears - Mom has no right to refuse to give up the newborn with all the documents. There are clear agreements and written agreements between the mother and the ordering parents.

Ukraine is not the only country that allows surrogacy. This is also Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, PAR, USA (except for the states of Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey).

Thereby thousands of parents have the opportunity to find a child. Regardless of the reasons why they cannot conceive a baby on their own. As, for example, in case of danger to the life of the main character “What are women silent about”.

He is sure that in the future this method of fertilization can destroy the institution of family and marriage, and women use their bodies to earn money.

Oksana Bayrak entered into controversy with the priest and admitted that she herself went through preparation for surrogacy.

“I donated an egg. I underwent the so-called genetic examination together with my partner, ”said Oksana Bayrak.

Reproductologist from the camp "per" also said that she does not understand why infertility is considered as a punishment from God.

But still, medicine is moving forward, treating diabetes and hypertension, and the church does not mind. But for some reason, if a woman cannot get pregnant or bear a baby, it is a sin.

However, fertility specialist Ekaterina Gonzel noted that she opposes such services.

“For 9 months, the child hears the beating of the mother's heart, and also does not know that genetically he is not hers. After birth, it does not matter to him the moment whose eggs and to whom were placed. It is important for the infant to remain at the same rhythm as in the womb (breathing, heartbeat, voice, timbre). That is why many doctors and psychologists recommend putting the baby to the breast after giving birth so that he can feel his own smell, heartbeat and voice, ”said Ekaterina.

The expert also noted that there are many orphanages where children have already been born and are psychologically separated from their biological mother. There you can also safely exercise your right and desire to become a parent.

Perinatal psychologist Marina Vovk objected to Catherine, because a woman does not become a mother in 9 months.

Maternity has several components:

• behavioral - we learn throughout our life, from the first days we see and feel how our mother treats us.
• psycho-emotional - the desire to become a mother, psycho-emotional readiness.
• cognitive - preparing, reading, learning everything about motherhood, childbirth, upbringing
• physiological - the very process of pregnancy and childbirth.

That is, mothers who turned to a surrogate for help do not go only through the physiological process of motherhood. She also noted that pregnant girls who are afraid to give birth and do not want a baby come to her appointment.

Therefore, in motherhood, not only the physiological component is important. As a result of the release, the heroine made a decision:

“I understand that there are many pitfalls. But thanks to the talk shows, I gained important knowledge about preparation, contracts, genetic research, and I am ready for the surrogacy program, ”said Nadya.
