Fast food is a real calorie bomb. You are consuming a lot of extra calories - but soon you are hungry again. Why?
1. Fast food and sweets are empty calories
That is, these are mainly carbohydrates, but there are no nutrients, fiber. Excessive amounts of carbohydrates cannot be processed by the body, and simply go into fat. Because of them, the blood sugar level jumps - and hunger reappears.
2. Calorie calories strife
If you are counting calories in your diet, you probably wondered: why not eat less, but harmful, than more, but sugary-healthy. When you really want chocolate, then the argument seems logical.
However, having received your 500-600 kcal in the form of a harmful snack, and not a full meal with meat and vegetables, you you will quickly lose the feeling of satiety, you will not get practically any nutrients, vitamins and microelements.
3. Need protein and fiber to keep you full
If you consume practically only carbohydrates, you will constantly feel hungry. They raise the blood sugar level, then it drops just as sharply - and hello, lunch or third breakfast. If you need to eat without running to the refrigerator in half an hour, protein and fiber-rich foods should be included in the meal.
4. Flavoring additives
As you know, it is very difficult to gorge on sausage, for example. Due to the huge number of flavors and flavorings, you want it more and more.
The same is true for the rest of the food, which is often called "junk": to give fast food flavor, it is abundantly added to it flavoring agents and flavor enhancers. They, in turn, provoke you to eat more and want more.
5. Change in hormonal levels
There is a lot of sugar in fast food: for example, in the same cutlet in a hamburger - several times more than in a homemade cutlet. Accordingly, when you eat such refined products, a lot of triglycerides are formed in the blood. They, in turn, interfere with the release of the hormone leptin, which is responsible for feeling full.
