Classic gourmet fridge: recipe step by step
Kholodnik is a chilled summer soup that has gathered in itself various variations: with and without meat, for kvass or water. Which one is - it's up to you, and we will offer the classic version.
This soup is excellent dish to satisfy not only hunger but also thirst. The chill is excellent as a primordial summer soup that contains all the lightness and at the same time satiety. And cooking won't take more than half an hour.
You will need:
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 2 pieces
- Meat - 300 grams
- Egg - 4 pieces
- Radish - 1 piece
- Dill - 1 piece
- Green onions - 1 piece
- Sour cream - 5-6 tablespoons
- Mustard - 2 tbsp. spoons
- Kvass - 1.5-2 liters.
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Green peas - 150 grams
Cooking method:
- Prepare food in advance.
- Boil potatoes and eggs.
- Then open the jar of peas and drain the water.
- Peel the potatoes.
- Then cut into small cubes.
- Also cut the boiled meat into cubes.
- Add green peas to a bowl.
- Cut the cucumber into small cubes.
- Next, peel them off.
- Cut the hard-boiled egg into small pieces and add to a bowl.
- Chop radishes, green onions and dill and send to a bowl.
- Season the vegetable mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add mustard, sour cream.
- Mix everything well
- Strain the kvass through a strainer and add to the bowl to the mixed vegetables.
- The classic fridge is ready.
Advice
It is better to prepare food in advance. So the process of preparing a fridge itself will not take you more than half an hour.
