Herbarium is dried samples of flowers, leaves and other parts plants. It is usually associated with autumn, when collecting a herbarium is required in biology classes. However, in summer, during the period of rapid flowering and growth of the plant environment, it is high time to make an interesting collection of dried plants.

But here it is important to know a few rules:

1. Collect the herbarium in dry weather. The plants should be free of moisture. It is better to do this at noon or in the evening, but not in the morning or at night.

2. Small plants are uprooted. So you can study it completely. But part from a large plant must be carefully cut with a knife.

3. Samples should be free of parasites and signs of plant disease.

4. The easiest way to dry a plant is outdoors. You can form small bouquets of flowers and herbs and hang them by the stems by the window. The place should sell well, but direct sunlight should be avoided.

5. Leaves that don't have a lot of sap can be easily dried between pages. This is an old proven method that will help keep the shape of the plant for years.
