In the summer, children need to drink a lot of water. But how to choose a really childish and safe one?
1. Children's water should have a low mineralization and be extracted from underground sources, produced from table mineral water or natural drinking water. Children should not be given water that is produced by additional purification and mineralization of ordinary tap water.
2. A certain concentration of calcium, magnesium and sodium should be in baby water. The permissible total content of minerals is 100–500 mg / l. The hardness of the water should not exceed 7 mg-eq / l. Maximum indicators of minerals in baby water: calcium - 60 mg / l, magnesium - 30 mg / l, sodium - 20 mg / l, bicarbonate ion - 400 mg / l, sulfates - 150 mg / l, chlorides - 150 mg / l, nitrates - 5 mg / l.
3. The bottles must have a specific indication that the water is intended for children, indicating the age group, mineralization indicators, shelf life.
4. An open bottle of baby water can be stored for several days (the exact indication should be on the label). If the child has already drunk from a bottle, then it is not worth storing it at all, as well as reusing a plastic disposable bottle.5. You do not need to boil baby water for drinking. Purchased water that has been purified and filtered does not need additional boiling.
