A relaxing bath bomb is a great way to relieve stress and fatigue after a hard day at work.
Cook her inat home you can too. At the same time, you will be sure that the bomb will not contain additional chemistry, which means that the relaxation session will be realized at the highest level.
You will need:
- soda;
- lemon acid;
- powdered milk;
- corn starch;
- sea salt, magnesium sulfate;
- clay;
- ground oatmeal;
- olive oil;
- essential oil;
Cooking method:
- Sift soda, citric acid through a sieve and mix thoroughly. It is important to achieve a homogeneous mixture. Otherwise, granules in the texture may form in the bomb.
- Add filler and mix thoroughly.
- Add base and essential oils. Mix thoroughly again.
- If necessary, you can add fluid for better adhesion of the components. If there is not enough moisture in the mixture, use water.
- The finished mixture should look like wet sand, and when you squeeze your palm into a fist, keep its shape.
- Fill the two halves of the bomb mold with the mixture. Moreover, each layer must be tamped separately.
- Pour the mixture on top with a slide and connect the two halves, pressing them firmly for a few seconds.
- Carefully peel off one part of the form, then the other.
- If the mold cannot be removed, lightly tap the entire surface with your fingertips - this will help it better keep up with the contents.
Advice
It is better to grind citric acid in a coffee grinder or grind in a mortar for better adhesion and mixing of ingredients. Be careful: if you grind the lemon in a coffee grinder, dust will form, which can irritate the respiratory system - you just need to wait a few minutes for it to settle.
