Strawberry jam recipe step by step: the main secrets of cooking

It is better to cook strawberry jam in summer, in order to enjoy the sweet taste of berries in winter and remember warm evenings.
Cook strawberry jam at home is much easier than you previously thought. But the composition of this sauce will be much better than the purchased jam, which contains, in addition to a large amount of sugar, a whole bunch of preservatives.
You will need:
- 1 kg of strawberries;
- 1 kg of sugar.
Cooking method:
- Place half of the strawberries in the pot first.
- Pour half the sugar next to it.
- Top with leftover strawberries and sprinkle with leftover sugar.
- Then let the future jam brew for 4-5 hours at room temperature so that the strawberries give juice.
- Place a saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil.
- During the cooking process, the berry can release more juice.
- Cook the jam for another 5 minutes and then remove it from the heat.
- Leave the jam to cool completely.
- Then bring the mixture to a boil again.
- Boil it for up to 5 minutes and then cool it well.
- Repeat cooking shortly.
- According to the recipe, you need to cook the treat three times. But it's better to boil it a couple more times to make the syrup thicker.
Advice
Skim the pan while boiling. If you do not remove it, the dish will have a shorter shelf life. In addition, removing the foam will help to achieve a richer flavor.
