How to provide first aid for bruises and cuts: instructions for mothers
Children very often find themselves in a number of unpleasant situations that end with broken knees and bruises on various parts of the body.
We invite you to find out how to properly treat the wounds so as not to introduce an infection baby. And also - how to behave with various injuries to parts of the baby's body.
How to handle the cut:
- Chlorhexidine
- Furacilin
- Miramistin
What to refuse:
- Zelenka
- Iodine
- Alcohol
How to help with a cut:
- If the cut is not too large, wash it with soap and water. Then sprinkle with antiseptic.
- Dry your skin thoroughly.
- You can run iodine around the edges with a cotton swab.
- If the blood cannot be stopped, it is worth sticking a bactericidal patch and closing the wound with a sterile bandage.
- Also, lift the affected area above the victim's chest.
- Press a clean cloth tightly over the wound.
- Fix it with a bandage.
- Hold the bandage until the bleeding is completely resolved.
- Re-treat the wound with any antiseptic.
- Be sure to bandage the damaged area and wrap it with a bandage.
How to help with a bruise:
- To reduce pain from injury, be sure to apply a cold compress.
- Change it until it gets warmer.
- If you find scratches during a bruise, you do not need to wet the wound. Otherwise, you may allow suppuration.
