Why can't you lose weight

You try to keep track of your diet and exercise - but something goes wrong? Sometimes the reasons are not at all obvious.

There are many obstacles to successful slimming lie in the plane of psychology. We figure out which of them can interfere with you on the way to harmony.

1. Stress from life changes

You have a child; you have moved; broke up with a loved one; quarreled with a friend; changed jobs, did something else new and not typical for you - this is definitely stress. Even the diet itself is stressful.

And overeating in such situations, when your brain is clogged with other experiences, begins to be realized, as in a joke, when "I woke up with a cutlet in my mouth, eating a pot of borscht."

2. Constant haste

For various reasons, people eat hastily: someone does it in parallel with work, someone - while children give the opportunity, someone - because they do not want to spend a lot of time on food.

But in the end, the body does not have time to give you a signal that it is full. The situation is especially dangerous if you do not even put food on a plate, but grab it from a common dish - then control over the amount eaten is generally lost.

3. Emotional hunger

Delicious food is a way to get pleasant emotions. Such an association, as we know, has been following us since childhood.

If there are enough new, pleasant emotions in your life, then there is no need to fill the "emotional holes" with food.

And if everything is boring, monotonous and in general you are not happy with life - this is also stress that you are trying to seize.

4. Gadgets and TV

Let's say you want to watch an interesting movie in the evening. Stocked up on a portion of food for such an event. And then you just eat "on the machine".

Perhaps you are full and you don't feel like it anymore, but the habit of absorbing something while watching remains. And therefore, at least the portion taken with you will definitely be eaten.

5. Little sun

The less sunlight falls on you, the lower the level of serotonin, the "happiness hormone". This means a greater risk of depression, anxiety, stress - and with them overeating.
