In quarantine, it is especially necessary to monitor the availability of all entertainment tools for the child. This also applies to paints.
Today we tellhow to quickly bring back dried gouache to life.
You will need:
- boiling water
- metal steamer or 2 pots of different diameters
- toothpicks
Instructions:
- Pour boiled water into jars with dried gouache. It should completely cover the gouache.
- Place the jars in a saucepan by placing it in another, filled with water to about half the height of the jars.
- You can also put jar lids in the water, the dyes will lag behind the lids and it will be easier to wash them.
- Bring water in containers to a boil, reduce heat to low so that the liquid bubbles a little.
- Cover the container with a lid.
- When the liquid boils away, periodically top up with hot water.
- Use a toothpick to check the softening of the gouache.
Important! This procedure takes up to 20 minutes. If the paints are already very dry, then they can be left in the pan for an hour.
