The vaccine protects the child from Haemophilus influenzae.

Haemophilus influenzae can cause:

  • otitis;
  • pneumonia;
  • purulent meningitis;
  • sepsis;
  • purulent processes in organs and respiratory tract;
  • purulent arthritis;
  • blood poisoning;
  • damage to the organs of vision.

From all these troubles, the baby is saved by a timely vaccination.

As you can understand, such a vaccine has many more advantages than disadvantages.

Advantages of the Haemophilus influenza vaccine:

  • generally easily tolerated by children;
  • reduces the risks of dangerous diseases and complications;
  • the child will be less sick in kindergarten;
  • forms strong immunity.

Disadvantages of Haemophilus influenza vaccine:

  • the risk of an inadequate reaction of the body to the vaccine;
  • risk of side effects: rash, swelling, fever, itching, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite.

Note that side effects appear in extremely rare cases. But if you don't get vaccinated, the risks and dangers from possible diseases far outweigh these unlikely side effects.

In what cases the vaccine against haemophilus influenzae cannot be administered:

  • at elevated temperature
  • acute infectious disease;
  • encephalopathy;
  • neurological abnormalities;
  • hypersensitivity to vaccine components;
  • with a complicated reaction to the previous same vaccination.
But it's important to remember that the decision to exclude a child from vaccination should be made exclusively by the doctor.
