Therapist Yevhen Komarovsky answered the most common questions of Ukrainians about the coronavirus.
How long does the virus stay in the air, for example, in an elevator, in stairwells?
According to Komarovsky, it is difficult to give an exact answer to this question. If you entered an elevator, where a person was actively coughing, then it is advisable to step back and wait until the particles virus will not settle on surfaces by gravity (this will take a few minutes).
On the surfaces themselves, the Chinese virus remains active for up to 10 hours, and then dies.
There is a danger of picking up viral particles by pressing, for example, the elevator call button with your finger, and then touching your face. Therefore, there is a rule that we do not touch our face until we wash our hands with soap and water, but we need to wash at least 20 seconds!

In most cases, the coronavirus is mild: patients need bed rest, a lot of water and symptomatic treatment.
If you feel that your condition is getting worse, such as difficulty breathing, you should call an ambulance for hospitalization.
