What to cook for a student for breakfast: millet porridge with pumpkin

If you want to combine benefits, speed of preparation and taste, then millet porridge is the perfect choice for you and your child.
Today we will share a simple recipe millet porridge with pumpkin, which is easy to cook in a couple of minutes and serve to your child.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pumpkin,
- 1 glass of millet,
- 50 g butter
- 2 glasses of milk
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar
- salt to taste.
Cooking method:
- Sort out the millet, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Peel the pumpkin, peel, seeds and fibers and cut into small cubes.
- Place the millet, pumpkin in a saucepan, cover them with hot water and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add sugar, salt and cook over medium heat, without stirring, until the water evaporates, about 10-15 minutes.
- Pour hot milk into the millet porridge with pumpkin, cover and cook over low heat for another 20 minutes.
- Then add butter to the porridge and send to the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot pumpkin porridge.
