Park "Poradiv" opens at the end of June. Visitors are promised many places for beautiful photos, awnings for relaxing in the shade and lavender coffee
Summer is the best time for bright, lively and colorful photos. While nature is in full bloom, people rush to take pictures in poppy fields, fields of lupines, irises and delphiniums. After poppies, lavender is rightfully considered the main favorite of June. Behind a beautiful shot in a cloud of soft lilac flowers, Ukrainians are ready to go on a real pilgrimage.
Now near Kiev there is only one large-scale location where you can admire the flowering of lavender and have a photo session on a lavender field - this is "Dobropark". There, as many as 6 hectares are allotted for lavender bushes. Flowering has already begun here, and its peak will fall at the end of June and the beginning of July. Despite the vast territory of the lavender area, it is advised to come to Dobropark for good photos on weekdays and preferably early in the morning. There are usually a lot of people on the field later, so a good quality
photoshoot will not work. You can read more about how to get to this place by public transport and how much money you need to take with you on a trip in our copyright material. At the end of this month, an alternative to the lavender field in Dobropark will open for residents of the capital and the region - this is a lavender park "Poradiv". Here, 35,000 bushes were planted on a 2.5-hectare site for the lavender season. The park is located in the village of Poradovka, Vasilkovsky district, Kiev region (38 km from Kiev) and is ready to receive visitors from June 30. Do not confuse this location with the Lavender Guy Park, which was opened in Poradovka several years ago. This year "Lavender Guy" is closed: it is closed for renovation, and therefore does not receive visitors.
Now in the park "Poradiv" for the opening of the season they are making the last preparations. Guests are promised a fully landscaped area with eco-friendly pedestrian paths, an observation deck, toilets, changing cabins (for photo sessions) and pergolas for relaxing in the shade. There will also be a cafe on site, where guests will be offered unique lavender coffee, and a shop where you can buy craft products made from lavender flowers. Tickets can be bought now on the park's website.

The photo hunting season in the Poradiv park will last only a month, from June 30 to July 28. When planning photo shoots, it is advised to take into account the peculiarities of lavender flowering. In the first week, you can get the most romantic shots: with the opening of the first colors, the fields acquire a delicate lilac color with a silvery sheen. In the second week, lavender is gaining juiciness and brightness - the fields become deep and expressive purple. In the third week, flowering begins to gradually "recede", because of this, reddish shades appear on the bushes. The fourth week is essentially the end of the lavender bloom. The flowers begin to dry out and give the lavender field a grayish tint.
