Ingredients:

  • 300 g pumpkin,
  • 200 g of cottage cheese,
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 egg,
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of semolina,
  • 50 g sugar
  • 10 g vanilla sugar
  • salt to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Before you start cooking the cottage cheese and pumpkin casserole, cook semolina in milk, add butter to it and cool to room temperature.
  2. Peel the pumpkin, peel, seeds and core and cut into small cubes.
  3. Pour some water over the pumpkin to cover the pumpkin and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain off excess water, purée the pumpkin and cool slightly.
  4. Rub the curd through a sieve to get rid of lumps. Add warm semolina to the curd mass and mix well. Then add pumpkin puree, vanilla sugar and stir again.
  5. Beat the egg with a pinch of sugar until frothy and gently stir into the dough.
