Office work, despite the number of advantages, is still sedentary. So, by default, harmful.
Back and joint pain
For 7 hours we sit in a bent position behind the monitor. This often leads to various problems with the spine and joints, especially if you have poor posture (for example, your neck stretched out towards the monitor) or an uncomfortable chair. Get up at least once every half hour to do a little warm-up.
Varicose veins
Sedentary work contributes to significant stagnation of blood and thinning of the walls of blood vessels. This is fraught with the appearance of ugly greenish knots on the calves. However, the good news is that you can fix everything. Avoid wearing high-heeled shoes regularly. Also, do not sit in a cross-legged position. It would also be nice to regularly go for a massage, and if there is no opportunity, then at least lie down in the "legs above your head" position after a working day.Chronic fatigue syndrome
It is also known as "manager's syndrome". Its essence lies in the influence of regular stress, high rhythm of life and fatigue on our general well-being. It is not so easy to diagnose it, although there are markers: constant fatigue and apathy, poor sleep and irritability. Spend time outdoors more often.
Digestive disorders
Drinking tea in the company of colleagues, and even with chocolate, irregular meals and the wrong choice of food - all this contributes to the formation of diseases such as gastritis, ulcers and obesity. To begin with, you need to establish a drinking regime - up to 2 liters of water consumption per day. Then - replace harmful office goodies with healthy vegetables and fruits. The key is to remember that some fruits, such as bananas, mangoes, grapes and pomegranates, are high in sugar.
Depression
Often the company conducts positive trainings, which are aimed at team building and establishing a positive atmosphere in the office. However, studies prove the opposite: more often than not, these trainings, on the contrary, drive workers into a state of melancholy.
