The philosophy of the ancient system of Indian medicine Ayurveda is to maintain a balance in the body between physical and emotional. And, according to the adherents of the doctrine, there are 3 types of energy in the human body: the very same vata, pitta and kapha. They are present all three at the same time in every person, but only one determines our constitution, taking the largest place.

Important: in addition to the constitution, the "main" energy at the moment forms the individual's taste habits and even his predisposition to certain diseases.

How can a person recognize the Ayurvedic identity of his own body? For a number of signs, in which we will try to figure it out.

As a rule, people with vata energy have a fragile slender physique and dry thin skin. They don't sleep well, speak quickly, and are often ecstatic about one reason or another. In addition, such people are not afraid of change, they quickly get full and soon become hungry again.

For vata people, yoga classes, long walks, and cycling are suitable for physical activity. And the best food for them is whole milk, avocados, cereals and root vegetables. In this case, it is better to give up coffee and crackers, raw vegetables.

With such a constitution, the signs of imbalance are arthritis, bloating, and wasting.

Pitta

These are people capable of working to the point of exhaustion, possessing a strong, but incredibly hot-tempered character. Often an unhealthy blush burns on their cheeks. They are smart, ambitious and passionate. And if the imbalance according to Ayurveda is disturbed in their bodies, they become envious and conflicted gluttons.

The main pitta diseases are colds, allergic reactions and ulceration. But when such people are healthy, they are not happier and more affable. They are usually of medium height and light weight, and also often have red hair.

Sports walking, skiing and tennis are recommended as physical activity for the pitta man. The best food for him is melon and grapes, as well as eggs, brown rice, zucchini, broccoli and cucumbers.

Kapha

These are people of already dense physique who wake up slowly and like to lie in bed for a long time. And to finally cheer up, they need a good cup of strong coffee.

If the Ayurvedic balance is observed, such a person is calm and happy in life. And if not, he begins to gain weight, swells, constantly feels tired.

Aerobics and jogging, football are recommended as physical activity for kapha people. It is better for them to eat vegetables and fruits, excluding fatty cheese, red meat and cow's milk from the diet.
