Hello dear readers of the channel!

Probably, some of you have come across such a situation when the nap of your favorite makeup brush is bent in a pencil case, cosmetic bag, bag and even in a container for brushes.

Whether the brush is expensive or from Fix Price - it doesn't matter. You are used to working with it and it is a pity to throw it away.

There is an exit! A makeup artist once suggested to me how easy, quick and simple it is to revive your favorite brushes in such cases. For this we just need a glass of hot water. Boiled water so that the temperature is at least 60 ° C.

The algorithm of action is very simple

Step 1. Pour into a glass of hot water.

Step 2. We dip our damaged curve brush in hot water and hold for about 30 seconds.

Necessarily! Do not immerse the brush in hot water below the junction of the ferrule (metal piece above the pile) and the handle. Otherwise, the glue may come off and the handle will fall off the ferrule.
After 20-30 seconds, the pile begins to take its original shape

Step 3. Take a napkin and wipe the nap dry with scrolling motions.

The brush will return to its original shape. My example is, let's say, complex, because the brush is fluffy. And as you can see, some of the villi bristle.

To correct this nuance, you need to repeat all three steps above, and then place the brush in the brush guard - this is a special net for storing brushes, it costs 3 kopecks in the store.

An example of a brashguard, not everyone has an idea what this thing with a strange name is

There are nuances in this household advice

I wouldn't be me if I finished everything on the third step and wrote that such a simple life hack is suitable for any brush. There are nuances here.

Thin brushes made from natural bristles are the easiest to restore with hot water. Although it is also suitable for artificial pile, if dipped several times and stored in a brush guard. Likewise with fluffy brushes.

I advise you to keep the brush in hot water at an angle, and not vertically, so that fewer villi bristle.

In general, a working life hack for almost all brushes, and it certainly won't do anything worse. Unless, of course, you have completely immersed the brush in hot water, which could cause the ferula to come off.
