Hello to all readers of the beauty viewer channel!
I have been brewing in the beauty industry for 6 years, initially I was a link between masters of beauty salons and manufacturers of cosmetics. I had to closely communicate not only with technologists and managers of cosmetic companies, but also with cosmetologists, makeup artists, colorists and nail service masters.
Over the years of work, an adequate understanding has formed what actually makes us visually age. Why some women look like girls, while others look older than their age. There are several reasons for this. But one of the most important is dry skin.
The hallmark of dry skin is not only a feeling of tightness and some discomfort. These are flowers.
Dry skin is prone to slight peeling, an uneven reddish undertone appears. And also small superficial wrinkles, which are very noticeable at the end of the day if the girl uses a foundation.
All this together adds up to a dozen years: peeling makes the skin embossed, redness leads to an uneven complexion, well, small wrinkles have never made us young.
What to do? Dry skin is always a deficiency of lipids in the upper layers of the skin. Remember! Not water shortage (sheer stupidity), and lipids (in simple words, fat).
The most ridiculous advice for dry skin is to drink more water.. The body has no problems with water: through the blood vessels from the dermis, it is always supplied to the upper layers of the skin, but it evaporates. It is lipids that retain moisture in the skin.
Therefore, it is enough to acquire two creams:
1) nutritious: to replenish lipids, preferably with palmitic acid, undesirable - lanolin;
2) moisturizing: so that moisture does not go anywhere.
Moisturizers work differently depending on their composition. For example, marine collagen and petroleum jelly form a film on the skin that prevents moisture from evaporating. Hyaluronic acid and glycerin can attract and retain water molecules. Centella is generally able to regulate the flow of water in the dermis, so the products with it are not cheap, but the workers seemed to put a cosmetic gin in a jar.
In winter, I strongly recommend using creams with a dense texture. In the cold season, the skin, as an organ whose main task is to keep our body temperature normal, has a lot of work. Cold and frost requires fewer resources for the skin in the form of water and lipids than drops - when we go into and out of a warm room.
Therefore, the most important thing in solving the problem of dry skin is not just some thoughtless moisturizing. And the preservation or restoration of lipids plus the retention of moisture on the upper layer of the skin. Nourishing creams cope with the first task, moisturizers - with the second. Not so simple in this matter. Here, too, you need to think and know how the components work. Read a friend's advice in the comments - lottery. But if you have extra money, you can play it :-)
Next time I can tell you in detail about one of the two types of creams. Choose which one is more interesting to you.
I could fit in one article, but I'm tired of the fact that long materials are mastered by about 50% of all readers.
