I bought a product specifically for the summer, when I decided to give up acids in the care, and I needed a product with a working component. The choice fell on The Ordinary brand, popularized from all blogs, or rather, on serum with 10% niacinamide and 1% zinc.
On the benefits of niacinamide and niacin for skin, I had a separate article that many readers liked, and I received a bunch of questions about niacinamide in private messages and in the mail.
Inspired by the purchase of a product from a popular brand, she began testing the serum. And after the first application, I was unpleasantly shocked.
The serum is felt on the face and the feeling is as if applied not a serum, but a mask-film. This feeling did not leave me all day, it even seemed to me as if my face was melting under this serum. This is not yet the most unpleasant minus that this serum has. Further - more interesting.
What struck me most was that serum is not friendly with many creams, with none of my cream she had a "friendship". She simply rolled off her face in terrible pellets. If a tone was still applied, then it simply waves its handle to you and leaves with the insidious serum into oblivion.
Do not think that a negative review was formed only after the first use, I have a lot of means that after the first acquaintance I either did not understand them, or saw the effect not the one that conceived. Chances serum The OrdinaryNiacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% gave a lot.
My head could not fit: well, how is it, everyone almost squeaks from her superiority, it means that somewhere it (superiority) is. I applied it at different times of the day, with different care, different cream and even in different weather. There is only one result: a terrible film on the face, which rolls into dust.
You know, if there was an effect from her, then I would forgive her all the errors, but the miracle did not happen. Nothing happened at all, and even some of what bloggers and girls describe on reviewers. There are many good remedies with niacinamide, and now this is definitely not The Ordinary for me.
You might think from everything written above that perhaps this is some kind of individual intolerance, and I am so one in a million "lovers of this serum with niacinamide and zinc", but no. I did find reviews from other girls who also did not understand why no one writes about the conflict between serum and creams.
In general, I want to say that The Ordinary is a highly publicized brand. Okay, I'll clarify - for me personally, this is a publicized brand, I do not impose my opinion on you. Yes, there are good products there, and I want to emphasize that the products not cool, but not bad. A stylish jar with minimalism in design, of course, attracts the eye and looks beautiful on the shelf in the bathroom. Maybe for beauty I will leave mine too 😄 But I will definitely not use it further.
