I remember the scent of Dialogue as a child, it was unusual: very thick, fruity-liqueur, and with a sharp sound of slightly burnt violets (then I did not know yet that these were aldehydes). Perhaps it seems amazing to me now because of the memories and nostalgia for a carefree childhood. Our brain distorts the memory of tastes and smells a little, and even our favorite soda may seem the wrong one, although the recipe has not changed.
One thing I can say for sure, may the radical perfumers forgive me: before the Dialogue of Dzintars, the fifth Chanel, Shalimar or Opium is just a background, scenery. The scent was unique, complex, and at the same time, as a child, it did not seem disgusting to me, unlike other current vintages.
It was produced according to a joint recipe with the French, as it is fashionable to say now - in collaboration. However, Dzintars acquired the patent for Dialogue from New Dawn.

Top notes: lemon, bergamot, violet, lily of the valley and aldehydes
Heart notes: coriander, patchouli, iris, ylang-ylang, carnation, rose, vetiver
Base notes: musk, fruity notes
Now it is very difficult to buy such perfumes. Firstly, they are no longer produced, and the Dzintars plant, unfortunately, closed down at the end of last year, and all the leftovers are being sold. Secondly, the 22 ml bottle can only be found at auctions or Avito, but it stands like a cast-iron bridge. And it is not a fact that it will be the scent of childhood: there have already been cases when people bought vintage for a huge amount and received rancid "masterpieces". For several decades, they can only store them correctly in a museum.
Just recently I watched Avito, 45 thousand. rubles are asked for Dialogue. This is how ordinary people try to get rich out of memories, and people still grumble something at marketers :-)
Today perfume Dialogue is produced by the European Union Riga-Paris. The manufacturer claims that they are the same as in the 80s. However, the reviews among those who ordered blindly can be counted on the fingers of one hand. They seem to be satisfied.
Dzintars himself advised the following analogs of Dialogue: I love illusion, Hit orange, Modo red and Solo.
A bit closer to Dialogue, but, unfortunately, not its clone - Luna nina ricci. The same thick gourmand aroma with bitterness and a wonderful sillage that can cause migraines in others. Luna Nina Ritchie has at least authors - perfumers Christophe Reino and Marie Salamagne. Even the creator of Dialogue Dzintars is unknown. Here it is - a genuine mysterious aroma, unsolved by the chromatograph.
New Zarya has a Dialogue - not like the Riga version, but interesting for its price: a tart rose in aldehydes, pieces of wood and a powdery finish.
In general, there is something similar in the perfume market, but not an analogue. So, echoes. Dialogue of Dzintars, as for me, is the only unique aroma of its kind, which took and disappeared. All that is left of him are the bottles from the outbid and memories. Even no legend about this fragrance can be found.
