Now talk about would-be masters, because of whom the varnish is bubbling, the cuticle is badly processed, or chips are formed, so look for a professional master - so-so advice during self-isolation. Therefore, we learn many things on our own, no matter how lazy you are.
You can start at least by avoiding mistakes in your manicure.
The first mistake is a careless attitude to the cuticle
Now we need to wash our hands more often and more thoroughly with soap. Someone even crosses themselves before scratching their nose and liberally applies the contents of the antiseptic to the finger. Our cuticles are in shock from such a hospital ritual, and the skin of our hands is dried up to cracks (which, by the way, is an ideal place of residence for pathogens).
In principle, before all this news with the cuticle oil virus, many girls also ignored it. I even walked the bike, they say, oils only spoil the manicure. In fact, no: a dry nail plate will reject gel polish, it simply will not last normally for two weeks. The adhesion strength of the gel polish is high, I admit it, but the overdried and weakened "foundation", the nail plate, will reduce this strength to nothing.
You will daily treat the cuticle and the base of the nail plate with special oils - the manicure will last longer, and the nails will be healthy. This action will take only a couple of minutes of your time.
Useful ingredients in cuticle oils: avocado, grape seed oil and almond (it is absorbed almost instantly).
The second mistake is to trim, not soften the cuticle.
A rather heated debate unfolds on the topic of edged manicure: some do not like unedged manicure, the latter refer to the experience of Western colleagues, they say, in Europe and America cannot cut their cuticles, they care about health, and our Russian women are so crazy that they sacrifice their health for the sake of beautiful nails.
Both sides are right in their own way. However, there is an optimal solution: it is enough to soften the cuticle with oil and gently push it with an orange stick to the edge of the nail. That's all: the manicure will be beautiful, and the cuticle will not have to be cut. Still, it was given to us for a reason by nature: thanks to it, the base of the nail is protected from dirt, pathogens, dust and chemistry. Without it, all harmful formaldehydes would have long been walking in our blood, there was a strong allergy to varnishes up to death, and we certainly would not have time for sore nails.
The third mistake is the wrong nail file.
A metal file will delaminate your nail faster than others, make it brittle and scratch the surface. Now it is a sin to sell such, there are cheaper and safer options. It's time to forget about metal files.
For thin and fragile nails, they came up with glass files: you have to try very hard to injure and delaminate the nail with them.
For those who do not like gel polishes and supporters of natural healthy nails, files with soft abrasives, grain size 240/280 grit, are suitable. They are ideal for simple nail shaping. And for polishing and polishing nails, the grit should be higher.
And do not forget to file your nails only in one direction with a file, otherwise you may delaminate them.
In the following articles I will tell you about professional manicure products that you can safely use at home. I will tell you how to distinguish a bad degreaser from a good one, why diamond nail hardeners are good, and much more on the topic.
I don’t think that if we sit on self-isolation for a couple of weeks, then no one will sell professional funds. at ridiculous prices ;-) If you are interested - put your "thumbs up" and subscribe to the channel so as not skip.
