I suggest not to be sad in the last week of summer, but to think about the autumn wardrobe. Stores have already displayed their autumn collections in full, and in some there are still sales and I want to know what to focus on. Since the stores are focused not on our style, but on sales, you need to clearly understand what is relevant, and has not been hanging here since 2016, but no one will buy in any way.
I do not at all think that every year you need to update your wardrobe and run to buy hot trends. You can wear a thing from the same 2016, if it is in excellent condition and suits you. Another question if you now want to buy something from the latest trends or a more modern base. Then yes, I would like to know. In my wardrobe, both new things and my favorite old people that do not lose their relevance for years get along well.
Jersey vest
I'll start with one of the hottest trends that all the main women of fashion have already picked up - a knitted vest. I don’t remember such a trend for a long time, but I can definitely say that in elementary school I had a cute vest, then it was for warmth, and now for fashion.
There are many variations of vests, the main criterion is a free fit. The length can be any, which is very cool. Elongated, short or regular standard length, choose according to your proportions and parameters. The neckline can be V-shaped, round, or absent, the most versatile, of course, is V-shaped. The vest can be monochromatic, or it can have bright accent stripes or blocks.
You can wear it with shirts, dresses, trousers, skirts, jeans. One of the most interesting options - on a naked body, waiting for Indian summer or wearing it now.
Jackets & Blazers
What autumn is without a good jacket or jacket? Now there is such a rich selection of current models as never before. Jackets from the man's shoulder, loose fit and oversized remain with us. But if you want femininity, you can move away from oversize. Last year or a little more, the fashion for fit has returned, only here it is important to take into account one nuance - a modern fitted jacket is NOT shortened, but elongated. Cropped jackets are also relevant, but there must be a loose fit. The devil is in the details.
From prints we always have a cage, a strip, from flowers - milky, beige, brown, mustard, blue, lilac, black, gray. The list is not exhaustive. Of the fabrics, I can separately note velvet, which is in trend in the fall of 2020. A modern velvet jacket doesn't have to have a cheap sheen, be careful in your choice.
Bombers
Again, bomber jackets are very relevant, a few years ago I had a denim bomber jacket with fabric sleeves, I'm sure many had something like that. Nowadays, leather bombers are especially relevant, which will perfectly replace the leather jacket if you are tired of it. Leather is not necessarily black, there are many variations, colored is now in fashion.
In addition to leather, there are also various fabric options, more sporty or neutral, such as a checked bomber jacket or a houndstooth. Such a print will allow wearing this product not only in a sporty style, but also in a more classic one. Will add rebellion, it will be an ideal option for those who are bored in the classics. Such a bomber jacket can be worn to study, for example, if there is no uniform.
A wide shoulder line is relevant, however, the usual one is also with us, I love modern fashion for the right to choose.
Cardigans
I know that they have many amateurs, and this fall they have something to please them. Both long and short models are relevant. Free, wide and slightly voluminous. Of course, an autumn cardigan should be made of good dense fabric. But if you have a thin one, it can be worn not as a top layer, but as a shirt, tucked into trousers or a skirt.
In the coming season, loose cropped cardigans are distinguished, such models are especially suitable for those who are dissatisfied the length of their legs and who wants, at least, not to visually subtract centimeters, but as a maximum - to add.
Jean jacket
In the fall of 2020, there is a clear trend for fringe. How do you like the idea of a fringed denim jacket? I saw this at the Zara store recently, it looks not trivial. Recently I was asked if denim jackets with a belt are still relevant? Wear if you like, they are still with us.
In addition to fringe, there is a trend for a shirt cut, a denim jacket fits perfectly into it. That is, it may not even be a familiar denim shirt, but a rough denim jacket under a shirt.
You can turn your attention to loose straight cut jeans, which have not lost their relevance for many years. Oversize doesn't go anywhere. Shortened models are also with us, but they should be free, from the interesting - at the bottom they can be with an elastic band.
Windbreaker
I will be doing a separate selection of jackets one of these days, but it hardly makes sense to refer to them as a windbreaker, since this is a very lightweight option. In my wardrobe, by the way, there are windbreakers only from time to time, this is not my must-have, I like to warm myself almost from the end of summer. How are you doing with them?
In 2020, both loose oversized windbreakers and less voluminous ones are worn. Even if you do not like oversize, choose the thing so that there is a little air between you and it, the windbreaker should not fit you tight. The length can be different, ranging from a shortened version to a raincoat.
The color palette ranges from calm white or beige to super-bright orange. Any color can be. Whether it's a sporty windbreaker with color-blocking, or a shirt-cut windbreaker, you will look modern, as the selection of the current is very extensive.
