I met different tips on how to return dried mascara old youth a life. To be honest, I am not a supporter of any manipulations with her, since I am the owner of sensitive eyes and I don’t really want to experiment on them. Although once upon a time there was such a thing.
I remember how back in my school years I had Golden Rose mascara and when it started to dry out, for some reason we added regular cream to it. Then there was no Internet and there was nowhere to even spy on. I don’t remember who came up with this idea, but we actively used it with our friends. The mascara really became like new, but the eyes were not very comfortable with it. At least mine.
By the way, the Golden Rose mascara of those times was very good, I wonder what it is now, no one tried it? In those early years, I also had their eyeliner, and you know, I still buy it.
I tried several others, but I have not even experimented for a long time, it suits me so much that there is not even such a desire.
A little about my mascara
Now I have 2 favorites - one moisture resistant from Toplash and Belarusian Belita Royal volume. Toplash mascara is NOT to be confused with waterproof mascara, which is so difficult to wash off.
I am not friends with them, I do not like oily mascara makeup removers. Toplash is resistant to rain and tears but can be removed with warm or micellar water. Mascara works well for length, plus it also contains components useful for eyelashes.
Many people love Belarusian carcasses, their Royal volume is very popular, I have bought it 3-4 times already. It is not moisture resistant, but it gives good volume to the lashes. You can make drama with it, but I'm not a fan of such an effect.
How to thin out mascara
I have already told you about the first method with cream. I like how the mascara behaves after the cream, but sometimes I felt some kind of discomfort. Maybe try again?
I often find advice to add eye drops like Vizin to mascara. I have not tried this option and, moreover, I am not eager. I don't like the idea of mixing medicines and cosmetics. Vizin is not just water for dry and tired eyes, it is a medical product. The instructions contain both contraindications and side effects.
The next tip is to add a lens storage solution to the mascara. If you wear lenses, you know that solutions are different, somewhere it's just a liquid close to our tears, so to speak, somewhere cleaning and disinfection is persistent. Well, the idea with a solution for lenses does not seem attractive to me either, everyone should decide.
What else do they suggest adding to the ink bottle? Micellar water. My friend loves this method and uses it with pleasure. A couple of drops in a bottle - and the ink is not so dry. What is micellar water in common language? It's like a soapy solution, but micelles have a milder effect than soap. The Internet is replete with videos where micellar water is applied to a cotton pad and blown into it - there is a lot of foam.
In the photo you can see this - in fact, there is even more foam, then I blew a little. I don't want to add that to mascara, do you?
My method does not imply any pouring into the bottle at all and I like it the most. Suitable for mascaras that contain paraffin or wax. Just like the Belarusian ones, for example. I will insert a widget on it for your convenience. And yes, this is not advertising, otherwise there would be no competitors, at least))
I pour hot water into a glass and dip a closed tube into it, water should not get into it. I hold for 20-30 seconds and voila! The mascara is flexible again, pliable and not dry. On the eyelashes, then it does not stop in a pumpkin, everything is ok. This method helps me to hold out until the purchase of the next mascara.
