Lower blepharoplasty - lower eyelid lift - an operation that is in demand at any age. As well as plastic surgery of the upper eyelid, which is often necessary for people with pronounced overhanging by nature, correction of the lower eyelid is needed for aesthetic reasons.
With age, wrinkles, expression lines and pouches develop naturally due to sagging skin (ptosis). At a young age, when the face has not yet been touched by age-related changes, bags become the result of genetics, lifestyle, water retention in the body. Even being almost invisible, they negatively affect the face, making it tired. Lower blepharoplasty quickly solves the problem and transforms the appearance.
We present 6 young women aged 20+ to 40+ who suffered from bags under the eyes and got rid of them with the help of lower blepharoplasty. The operations were performed in a Boston clinic (USA) by a surgeon Mitesh Kapadia, who specializes in eyelid plastic surgery. Most of the operations cost the patients $ 5,000+.

Patient No. 1
The woman in the photo was in her 30s and before the operation she suffered from pronounced bags under her eyes. In the area of the lower eyelids, there was a lot of adipose tissue, and with fluid retention, this area became edematous, which made the face tired and puffy. The lower blepharoplasty completely eliminated the bags, the face looked younger and fresher.
Patient No. 2
A woman in her 30+ had no bags, but dark circles and a deep nasolacrimal groove, which visibly separates the lower eyelid and cheek, were expressed. The patient underwent blepharoplasty of the lower eyelid using a filler, which filled the nasolacrimal sulcus with volume and removed the dark "cavities". Also, Botox was injected into the forehead, which smoothed out expression lines.
Patient No. 3
A young woman aged 30+ has exophthalmos (forward displacement of the eyeball), due to which the upper edge of the lower eyelid protrudes forward. This problem was superimposed on another - the formation of massive bags with pronounced swelling and darkening. The patient underwent lower blepharoplasty with excision of excess tissue under the eyes, followed by filling this area with filler to smooth the border between the eyelid and cheek.
Patient No. 4
The example of this girl, who is in her early 20s, well illustrates how severe the problem of bags under the eyes can be at a very young age. The girl had the extra tissue under her eyes surgically removed and the area filled with fillers for a smooth and even color.
Patient 5
This 40-year-old woman underwent a circular blepharoplasty, but it was in the lower eyelid that there was a more critical problem, and this is where the excellent result of the surgeon's work is noticeable. A woman has a tired type of aging, which contributes to the retention of excess fluid with puffiness in the eye area. Before the operation, the bags were large and bulky due to the accumulation of adipose tissue under the skin. The plastic surgeon freed her eyes from fatty tissue, which gave the woman a younger face. Lipofilling and filler contouring were not performed after the operation, so the result is very natural.
Patient 6
Even small bags ruin the face, which is shown by the example of a girl in her 30s. With pronounced fullness of the face or puffiness, the lower eyelid forms a fold, which looks even more unaesthetic, making the face tired. The patient underwent a simple operation of the lower blepharoplasty, which smoothed the area under the eyes.
