Makeup artists work wonders with faces at any age, but it's especially curious to see the transformation of mature women. For example, after 50 years, when wrinkles are hidden and skin irregularities are masked, and as a result, we get the effect of an expressive face several years younger.
Introducing 7 women aged 50+ before and after working with makeup and hair stylists. As always, it was not done without retouching.
1. Rose and lilac
Natural yellow skin tone isn't the best neighborhood for purple hues, be it clothing or makeup. But in this case, the makeup artist tried to transform a woman who, in addition to having wrinkles on her face, has dark circles and almost no eyebrows.
The new eyebrows look very natural and not rough, the makeup is made in soft shades of pink and lilac, where shadows, lipstick and blush are ideally combined with each other.
2. Elegant brightness
The face of a mature woman with pronounced deep wrinkles around the eyes is aggravated by uneven tone and redness. As is often the case, an even tone is half the battle. The second half is the expressiveness of the eye area with the help of beautiful arrows, delicate three-dimensional makeup and drawn eyebrows. The orange-red shade of matte lipstick echoes in its brightness with blue eyes, which look much brighter than without makeup.
3. Correct eyebrows
This is a common case when the image is made with the right eyebrows. In the first photo they are overgrown and shapeless, in the second they are wide and even, in harmony with the big blue eyes. The eyelids are highlighted with pearlescent light and delicate beige shadows, the arrows are not wide, but expressive, and the color of the matte lipstick is very natural and not striking.
4. Thick tone and fluffy eyelashes
Thin facial features, thin skin in fair-haired or fair-haired and accentuated signs of age around the mouth and neck often add an age that you want to hide. As you can see in the photo on the right, this can be easily done by a professional makeup artist using a thick foundation, natural light brown eyebrows (instead of tattooed red ones) and an accent on the eyes with long eyelashes that make them larger and brighter. In the photo with makeup, the woman looked at least 10 years younger and, in general, the perception of her face changed a lot.
5. Smooth tone and new eyebrows
The makeup artist is the same as that of the previous woman, as a result, the end result is similar. The woman has a smooth face and radiant skin with almost no wrinkles, but the problem area is dark circles and hollows under the eyes. One has only to even out the skin tone and eliminate circles, as well as mark the eyebrows and emphasize the eyes a little, and the face is immediately transformed!
6. Rejuvenating gamut
The woman has dark brown eyes with bleached hair, an earthy skin tone and dark circles under the eyes, coupled with mimic wrinkles, are clearly visible. The ideal here is not monochrome makeup in beige and brown tones, which is often done with a similar color type, but refreshing and shine. Three-dimensional eyelid makeup in pearlescent shades of gold and silver relieves the face of fatigue, harmoniously combined with pink lipstick instead of brown.
7. Opening eyes, making lips
The work of a makeup artist demonstrates how powerful makeup can be when it comes to transforming an older woman, even without any plastics. But in the photo “before” the eyes are strongly hidden under heavy overhanging eyelids! This makeup is not as bright as the above, but it opened the eyes and emphasized the lips, completing the look with the final touch.
