Active and positive retirees delight the eye and inspire both their peers and younger people. But sometimes this activity leads to the collapse of personal life, while a new one is in no hurry to appear on the horizon. Then the work comes to the fore, but it sometimes requires a certain style, which also needs to be found and kept. This was the case of Galina, who does not get bored in retirement, but wants more.
"I'm too active"
Galina is 61 years old, although she is a pensioner, she practically does not go home. This was the case both 20 and 30 years ago, and this continues in her seventh decade. She herself admits that she is too active, and the main novel in her life is with work, without which she cannot live.
The heroine runs a children's fund, organizes various events in which she herself takes part, so she does not have to be bored. Galina has four sons, and has not had a husband for 20 years. One fine day he just left, tired of the fact that his restless wife is constantly not at home. The woman herself wanted to meet a man for her soul, and her family supports her in this. But for this she needs to change her style, which is far from perfect and taste in general.
According to relatives, Galina lacks solidity, but not only to improve her personal life. For her foundation to live and flourish, it needs a presentable face. But while his face (and body) adores leggings, blouses, tunics, dresses with lurid prints and an abundance of beads, which she selects for each outfit.
This heterogeneous cheap bad taste, with the help of Fashion Sentence stylists, must be forgotten, and replaced by the respectable style of a woman aged 60+.

The choice of a folk stylist: brightness and monotony
In this issue of "Fashionable Sentence", the first three outfits were selected by a folk stylist who tried to maintain the image of the heroine in warm or hot bright colors. It was a kind of compromise between what Galina herself loves and the solidity in the nobility of monotony that she needs.
1. Khaki Orange Sweater and Palazzo Pants
The stylist's first choices were oversized palazzo trousers in a rich khaki shade and a dazzling orange crew-neck sweater. Galina complained that she was too big in this outfit, and that was the truth.
Both wide trousers made of flowing fabric and a juicy neon shade of a sweater enlarge the silhouette and make a woman even more massive. The combination of colors and the combination of these things is quite successful in its simplicity, but, most likely, this is an outfit for a lady of a different build.
2. Checkered coat and trousers in beige tones
The second outfit was also simple, but visually very calm. Galina was wearing a beige top with lurex, tapered beige trousers with "arrows" and a classic oversized plaid coat. Here, perhaps, there is not enough scarf and headdress to complete the image, which is simply not capable of spoiling anyone.
The only controversial point: perhaps it would be worth changing the flat moccasins, similar to galoshes, for more elegant shoes. For example, ankle boots with stable heels or dark brown patent leather loafers.
3. Bright yellow dress with a turquoise bag
In the third release, the stylist returned to combining bright colors. This time, the choice fell on a canary yellow dress with matching shoes and a turquoise bag, which echoed in color with Galina's own pendant. Adjusted for the obvious cheapness of the fabric, this is a nice summer look that you can even go on a date, which the heroine so dreamed of.
The choice of stylists
The main task of the stylists of "Fashionable Verdict" was to give Galina the solidity that they were looking for in the beauty transformation. The faded curls were replaced by a short pixie cut on hair dyed in a natural brown shade. The makeup was done with pink eyeshadow, which contrasted effectively with the gray eyes.
1. Maxi dress with biker jacket
In the first version, Galina was dressed in a long dress with a bright floral-striped print, complemented on top by a white leather jacket. The image really surprised the heroine, but she liked it, even taking into account the effect of surprise.
Technically, the idea is not bad, but the light jacket in this updated variation looks cheap, however, the image still rejuvenates. It is unlikely that a jacket could do it as effectively, but an elongated vest or a sleeveless summer coat would cope with such a task.
2. Double checker and catchy accents
The image in a plaid coat from a folk stylist in shades of beige was very simple, and this outfit, also with a plaid coat, but already in gray tones, looks a little more complex and relaxed.
Here the cage of the coat is combined with another texture of the cage of the shirt, and the bright yellow handbag becomes a rich accent, at the same time echoing with the thin stripe on the coat. The set is complemented by a beret, which is coquettishly shifted to one side.
3. Emerald Maxi Dress
As an evening dress, the stylists picked up a long emerald dress for Galina with a fitted silhouette and soft folds on the sleeves to the elbow and along the entire length of the skirt.
The dress looked very dignified thanks to the winning design and noble shade. It did not require any jewelry on the neck: a miniature hard clutch and hoop earrings were chosen as accessories.
