Paula is an American who has worn not just long, but very long hair all her life. However, she could not boast of the beauty of her hair, because by nature they were thin, and the length did not add to their attractiveness.
Paula's son also wore very long hair, which is not typical of a man - almost to the waist. So, we can say that their passion for length was family. And both were convinced that the length is optional for beauty!
Family business
In the program for the transformation of the Rachel Ray Show, Paula called precisely in the hope of transforming her son, who, in her opinion, would be nice to acquire a more modern image. The woman did not even think about herself, because she had long given up on herself.
Her son, of course, was transformed by giving him a stylish men's haircut that suits the young man amazingly. But he decided that mom just needed to change, and she agreed with that. Paula devoted her whole life to her family and was accustomed not to regret anything for them, but she could not find the time and money for herself.
She admitted that she was already very tired of her hair, but did not know at all what to do with it. Indeed, in her life she did not do any styling except for an ordinary bundle, carelessly taken from behind with hairpins. She also wanted a style transformation and admitted that she had not worn dresses for 25 years, choosing comfortable shapeless jeans and T-shirts.
Finding a dress for the "apple" figure
Paula has an "apple" figure, which is characterized by a pronounced belly and no waist. With such a figure, which is exactly the opposite of the ideal hourglass shape, it can be very difficult choose a truly stylish wardrobe because of the standard cut of clothes that emphasize these limitations.
At a meeting with a stylist, Paul was looking for a dress in which she could go to her nephew's wedding. The stylist first offered her several short fitted dresses with a floral print, where the waistline was supposed to visually make the middle part of the body more graceful. But when she tried on this option, it turned out that this was not the best choice, and that the stomach was only emphasized in this way. Then the stylist picked up another option, which they settled on.
Versatile haircut with side bangs
So, a woman who is over the age of 50 has undergone a transformation with a change of annoying hairstyle. The stylist quickly cut the length taken into the tail, which he brought to the studio. In it, the heroine appeared with a versatile and comfortable shoulder length.
The hair was styled in large soft waves from the face, the bangs became thicker and more voluminous, they were laid on one side. The natural light brown color was changed to blond, playing with natural strands, which always give a hairstyle of volume and dynamism, unlike a flat blond and any other color without accent depths.
Small black dress
But the hairstyle was just a frame for Paula's new look, in the center of which was a black tiered cocktail dress made of thin translucent fabric and sleeveless. Soft flounces of medium size perfectly concealed the abdominal area and neutralized the effect of the missing waist. The neckline was decorated with a transparent black fabric.
The dress was complemented by red pumps and a rectangular golden clutch that echoed the bracelet on the left hand.
