Arthrosis of the hands develops rapidly, accompanied by painful sensations and limiting the mobility of the hand and fingers.
Of course, only a doctor can prescribe the treatment of this disease. But it is possible to alleviate suffering with useful exercises that are aimed at improving fine motor skills, relieving inflammation and strengthening cartilage nutrition.
If it is difficult to perform the exercises, then before gymnastics, try to warm them up with a heating pad for 10 minutes.
Perform all exercises 4 - 8 times for each hand.
If a sharp pain is felt, it is better to refuse to perform the exercise.
Fist
Extend the brush in front of you. Clench your fist, then sharply straighten your fingers. Tension should be felt in the fingers.
Finger stretch
Relax the brush and place it on the table. Drop the brush on the surface gently without straining. Withstand 30 - 40 seconds and return to a relaxed state.
Claws
Extend the brush in front of you. Simultaneously press all fingers to the palm and hold it for 30 - 40 seconds. The hand should resemble claws.
Grip
Take a small ball or ball of thread in your hand. Grab it by holding for a couple of seconds, then relax the brush.
Often it is not recommended to perform this exercise, 1 - 2 times a week will be enough.
Pinches
Take a soft small ball and pinch it with two fingers. Then change fingers alternately: thumb and forefinger, thumb and middle, etc.
Do this exercise 1-2 times a week.
Raising a finger
Place your hand on a firm surface. Try to lift each finger in turn.
Thumb abduction
To perform this exercise, you will need an elastic band. Slide the elastic over your wrist so that your thumb is in place.
Further, overcoming the resistance of the elastic band, try to move your thumb away and hold it in this state for 30 seconds. Perform no more than 1 - 2 times a week
Thumb training
Straighten all fingers in front of you, then bend your thumb so that it reaches the base of your little finger.
Finger play
Interact with each finger in turn, touching it to the thumb.
Stretching
Place your hand on a hard surface. Try to move each finger one by one to the side.
