Ibrahim, hiding with a rifle in the gorge, waits for Elif's car to appear and, upon seeing it, fires a shot at the driver.
The car begins to zigzag along the road, and then falls off a cliff into the water.
Elif realizes that this is the end and the last thing she has time to shout is the names of her son and beloved husband.
